Thank you very much, Hirsch family, for this beautiful holiday home. We felt very comfortable. Everything is available that one needs for a nice holiday home vacation. It is the first holiday home that is so well equipped. The kitchen is small but nice and very well stocked with everything. Pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery are more than enough. The refrigerator also has a good size. The paths to the dike, bakery, and restaurants are only a few minutes' walk away. The bed linen and towels are also of good quality and sufficiently available. Small samples in the bathroom were also considered. And the cleanliness was top-notch. The only small downside is the garden loungers. They should be replaced. But otherwise, there is nothing to complain about, and we will definitely come back. Thank you for everything.

The cleanliness of the holiday home was fine, and there was basically nothing lacking in the equipment. It is also worth mentioning the proximity to the beach, which is quickly reachable on foot. The house is also well-suited for dog owners, as the property is completely fenced.
Unfortunately, there was one significant point of criticism:
The hot tub was broken. Upon our arrival, we were informed that the repair would be taken care of and that it should be usable again during our stay. However, this did not happen.
What was particularly frustrating for us was that we had deliberately chosen the holiday home because of the whirlpool. We arrived on my birthday and wanted to treat ourselves to a little break from everyday life there. The hot tub was therefore an important feature for us and a decisive reason for the booking.
Only one day before arrival were we informed that the hot tub was not working. Even more disappointing was the fact that it became apparent on-site that the defect had apparently been known for some time. Had we received this information earlier, we might have reconsidered our booking. Additionally, we found it disappointing that no compensation was offered to us due to the unusable hot tub. Since a significant part of the booked holiday home could not be used during our entire stay, we would have at least expected a small compensation or a corresponding gesture of goodwill.
Aside from that, we had a pleasant stay; however, the unusable hot tub significantly affected the overall impression.

From the friendly initial contact to the end of the vacation, we experienced in Mr. Feix a flexible and communicative landlord, who genuinely cares that his guests feel completely comfortable and can be sure of his willingness to help. The thoughtfully renovated little house lacks nothing; it is stylishly and very cozily furnished. The winter garden gives the vacationer a sense of spaciousness and the idea of being able to feel at home in nature in any weather. The completely securely fenced garden allows families with children (including toddlers) and dog owners to enjoy a stress-free stay. We experienced the neighborhood as friendly. We greatly appreciated that well-maintained and natural walks with the dog were available right at the doorstep. We had a completely perfect stay in Winden, Am Forst. Thank you!
