Mrs. Baum is a very accommodating host who has thought of everything one might need. The special apartment offers a lot of space, and the sleeping areas are very generous. We had a fantastic time. The house is cozy, the kitchen well-equipped. The terrace gets sun all day. We were pleasantly surprised by the proximity to the Kellerwald-Edersee nature reserve. Beautiful walks right near the house. The dam at Edersee, Frankenberg, and Bad Wildungen are more than worth the trip. We enjoyed it!

Very nice and friendly hosts. The apartment has everything you need and is absolutely clean in all areas. Additionally, a nice large covered rooftop balcony. The apartment is very quietly located on the edge of the forest in a scenic idyllic area near the Edersee. There are many opportunities to spend your holiday in the region; we went cycling, hiking, swimming, and also did some excursions in the surrounding area. The rectangular castle complex was built in the 15th and 16th centuries and was rebuilt in its historical glory after being destroyed in the War of the Palatine Succession in the 19th century. Culture lovers are well catered for in the Main-Kinzig district during the summer months. The so-called Culture Summer offers a wide range of music, theater, art, film, and literature events each year. In the Rhine-Main area around Frankfurt, there are numerous cozy vacation apartments and houses that are excellent starting points for a city trip. Visit the spa towns of Bad Wildungen and Bad Homburg in the north, which are very suitable for relaxing and lingering. Other Hessian specialties include sauces and some cheeses. The menus in restaurants predominantly feature hearty and tasty dishes such as "Frankfurter Rippsche," "Äppelwoi," or "Handkäs' mit Musik." Classics also include ribs with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, which of course are accompanied by apple wine. In many quaint apple wine pubs, the innkeepers still press the wine themselves. In the Main metropolis, you even encounter the "Ebbelwei-Express." This historic tram takes you on an exciting journey through the city. The "Ahle Worscht" always contains seven herbs, including borage, chervil, cress, pimpinelle, and chives. Some manufacturers also add yogurt, quark, cream, vinegar and oil, or mayonnaise, as well as garlic or onions. But that's all you'll learn about the recipe. Grie Soß is definitely eaten with potatoes, accompanied by either boiled eggs or boiled beef. The sauce season lasts from spring to autumn. Hesse residents also have a sweet tooth.
