The holiday home KompassRose is undoubtedly a holiday home of the highest class!
The furnishings are absolutely high-quality, stylish, and everything is in excellent and like-new condition.
The cleanliness upon our arrival was impeccable, and during our holiday week in the house, we lacked absolutely nothing. Thus, we were able to enjoy our vacation week without any restrictions and to the fullest!
The location of the house in a new housing estate in Nordholz is completely quiet. The house served as our base camp for our daily, extensive geocaching tours by bike to many places on the North Sea coast, to Cuxhaven, or to the Elbe beach. Everything is easily and quickly accessible by bike and of course by car. In Nordholz itself, there is a shopping center 1 km away for everything that covers daily needs and beyond. The communication with the landlord, Mr. Hashagen, was informative and helpful in every case (no questions were left unanswered) but above all always very pleasant and heartfelt, which definitely contributes to giving this holiday home the highest rating.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home - anyone who spends their vacation here cannot go wrong!
In conclusion, we say THANK YOU VERY MUCH and SEE YOU AGAIN!!!

Your holiday home was great again!
Well-equipped, very clean. The insect screens on all windows and doors were very good this time. We had no mosquitoes in the bedroom.
The new huge TV fits well.
We have been in Timmel for 5 years now. There's no talk of an angler's paradise anymore. Every year there are fewer fish. 2023 + 2024 had no noteworthy catches at all. The Timmeler Meer is overfished! The neighbors who lived to the right and left of us also said so. They had not caught a big fish in 2 weeks.

The historic harbor in Tönning, the castle in Husum, the botanical garden in Wilhelmshaven, and the picturesque old town of Norden are other attractions and popular destinations for excursions. Or have you always wanted to know how and where large cruise ships and luxury liners are built? Then a trip to the Meyer Shipyard in Papenburg is a must. During a shipyard tour, you can experience modern shipbuilding up close. If your vacation apartment or house is on Sylt, you should visit the Red Cliff at least one evening. Popular destinations include the "Windstärke 10" museum about fishing history in Cuxhaven, the German Maritime Museum in Bremerhaven, the East Frisian Tea Museum in Norddeich, and the Coastal Museum in Wilhelmshaven. Even the Hallig Hooge has a museum, namely the Homeland and Hallig Museum. Exhibitions and facilities in many other places also provide information about life at the North Sea, its history, and culture, such as the open-air dike museum in Büsum.

Art lovers should keep an eye on the Nolde Foundation Seebüll. The famous painter Emil Nolde was born nearby. The museum hosts changing exhibitions each year but is closed over the winter. Literature enthusiasts will perk up at the name Theodor Storm: The writer was born in Husum. The house where he lived from 1866 to 1880 is now a museum and can be visited.
