Easter in Dresden

We spent a few beautiful days in Dresden over Easter. The holiday home is located right near an S-Bahn station. The dock of the Saxon Steamship Company is also not far away. We used the apartment as a group of four and only had breakfast there, never cooking for ourselves. There is also the possibility to sit outside in front of the holiday home, but unfortunately, that was hardly possible for us due to the weather. The landlords are very friendly and live in the main house.

Guided tours are offered here as well, available every weekday from 10 AM to 6 PM except Tuesdays. (As of August 2023) Spend some time on the Brühl's Terrace, which offers the most beautiful view of the water. A tip: On a warm summer evening, when the lights reflect in the waters of the Elbe, it is especially romantic here. Other lesser-known attractions such as the Pillnitz Castle & Park are just off the main route and await your discovery. The castle is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM and costs only 5 € for admission. (As of August 2023)

In the historic old town, the highlights and attractions are closely packed together.
