Cottage Pasternack
Freinsheim
If I haven't miscounted, we have already been with the Pasternack family for the seventh time. It is always a super relaxing vacation for us. The house has everything you need, it is clean, comfortably furnished, and really wonderfully quiet. The train station is just a few steps away, as is the beautiful old town with its many restaurants. And the two of them are super nice! We have already booked our next stay. ?

Wildnishaus Nationalpark Eifel
Heimbach
We really enjoyed our stay at the Wilderness House and have already booked again, but this time for one day longer so we can use all the facilities more extensively. Sauna, bowling alley, cinema - perfect and nowhere else to be found like this. Good communication before, during, and after the stay with the host, everything very clean and well-maintained, and a nice location for hiking.

Hattgenstein
For just over a week, we were in the building biology house Adlerhorst, constructed of wood and clay. A beautiful place in a lovely landscape. With a spacious, cozy, and warmly furnished living room. With nice balconies where you can sit comfortably and look at the soothing view.
Besides all that, Adlerhorst is also an ideal place for electro-sensitive people to completely recharge. We felt very good there and we also slept very well. The house gives a feeling of safety, relaxation, and peace.
In the surroundings of the house, you can take beautiful walks. And both the gemstones of Idar-Oberstein and the Moselle are not really far away. Where it was always nice to return to the cozy Adlerhorst.
In short, a very nice address for people with EHS!

For your vacation in the westernmost part of Germany, the Rhineland-Palatinate region offers exciting destinations and magnificent nature. Cycling and hiking through species-rich forests and a sun-drenched wine landscape, the uplands of Hunsrück, Palatinate Forest, Westerwald, and Eifel, as well as the lovely river valleys of Mosel, Lahn, Nahe, and Ahr ensure unforgettable moments. From your private holiday home or cozy apartment, you can explore the wine-rich state on extensive tours along the certified hiking trails. Majestic medieval churches, historic castles and fortresses, and historical buildings make Rhineland-Palatinate an excellent destination for a hiking vacation. Popular attractions include Eltz Castle and Trier Cathedral. Eltz Castle sits picturesquely like a fairy-tale castle above the idyllic Elzbach valley. It is one of the few castles that were never destroyed. Magnificent historic rooms, half-timbering, bay windows, eight living rooms, and a richly stocked treasury make the castle a popular destination. Trier Cathedral, the oldest church in Germany, began construction in the 4th century and has been a World Heritage Site since 1986. If you are looking for an apartment or holiday home for a hiking vacation in Rhineland-Palatinate, spring, summer, and autumn are the ideal travel times. Earth, water, air, and fire – there are few other regions in Germany as shaped by the elements as the Eifel uplands. Extinct volcanic cones, valleys traversed by rivers, stacked ridges, and moored dry maar lakes: Hiking in the Eifel allows you to consciously enjoy and experience nature. The Mosel is an excellent destination for anyone interested in a unique history. Whether it's the ancient Romans, the Middle Ages, or Art Nouveau – every town along the Mosel is shaped by a unique history. In Cochem-Zell, cozy apartments await you in one of the most diverse and beautiful holiday and wine regions in Germany. Cochem Castle, with its thousand-year history, is a focal point and towers 100 meters above the Mosel. The German Wine Route is the most famous and first wine tourism route in the world. Spanning about 85 kilometers, the road starts in Bockenheim, near Worms, and ends in Schweigen-Rechtenbach at the border with Alsace.

In addition to Federweißer and Riesling, onion cake and stuffed pig's stomach are delicacies from Rhineland-Palatinate. In the idyllic hill landscapes, fruits, nuts, chestnuts, and over 80 varieties of vegetables grow in abundance. Flour and potato dishes, stew dishes, stuffed pig's stomach, and steamed noodles are culinary classics in the Palatinate that you must try during a vacation in a house or a beautiful apartment. From the north and west of the Palatinate, where less fruit and vegetables are grown, come the traditional flour dishes such as Hooriche, Ausgschebbde, and Knepp. The French neighbors also influence Palatinate cuisine. Liver sausage, coarse sausages, and of course the famous Palatinate stuffed pig's stomach are still on the menu in restaurants today. A popular main dish is steamed noodles, which are coated with a salty crust on the outside and sweet on the inside. They are served with broth or potato soup, wine sauce, preserved fruits like pears or plums, and vanilla sauce. If you also want to enjoy Rhineland-Palatinate cuisine, we recommend visiting one of the traditional inns on the Rhine and Mosel. On the southern wine route, you have the opportunity to combine culinary delights with sporting activities. Of course, you can also treat your loved ones to a regional dish in your holiday home. The kitchens in the houses are fully equipped, so nothing stands in the way of your cooking pleasures.
If you are interested in culture, rent a holiday home in a quiet location or an apartment in Mainz, Koblenz, or Speyer. In Mainz, there is always something to experience. The Roman Theater can accommodate 10,000 visitors. Additionally, you can admire old buildings from the Roman era, ruins, and statues. The Mainz Cathedral has repeatedly been a witness to world history and is one of the most popular attractions in Mainz. Koblenz is one of the oldest cities in Germany. A kilometers-long waterfront promenade, the Deutsches Eck with its emperor, Stolzenfels Castle, and the fortress Ehrenbreitstein towering over the city. The city on the Mosel and Rhine offers culture enthusiasts a wide range of museums and theaters. An impressive memorial church, a pronounced Jewish heritage, and an imperial cathedral: Speyer also has a lot to offer: Mighty and large, the Speyer Cathedral has towered near the Rhine bank for 1000 years. The Porta Nigra in Trier is a World Heritage Site and the city's landmark. The well-preserved Roman city gate houses an information center about the Roman city.
