Description

Studio with own exit to the large panoramic sun terrace on the slope

Beautiful one-room holiday flat (studio) with living/dining area & double bed in the living room niche, kitchen, shower room and partial use of the large panoramic sun terrace. In a wonderful south-facing location with the best panoramic mountain view over Mittenwald, the Isar valley and the surrounding mountains. Excellent starting point for excursions, wonderful hikes, swimming in one of the many crystal-clear mountain lakes in the area, as well as freeriding in the Dammkar in winter, skiing and snowboarding on the Kranzberg or cross-country skiing and skating on the perfectly groomed trails nearby.

Haus Lindenruh offers two adjoining, fully equipped holiday flats (two-room flat & studio) for 2 people each, in a beautiful south-facing location with an incomparable mountain panorama. Best starting point for hikes and any leisure activities in wonderful nature. All Upper Bavarian sights are within easy reach. Hiking trails, a nostalgic chairlift to the Hoher Kranzberg, panorama restaurants, alpine huts and especially wonderful viewing and resting places are within walking distance directly from the house. The flats offer a separate bedroom (in the studio a sleeping alcove), living/dining area, a shower room and a separate kitchen, SAT-TV, WLAN (in the studio partly WLAN), as well as a wonderful view of Mittenwald, the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains, which are about 100 metres below. Both flats are on the ground floor with their own exit to the large panoramic sun terrace on the slope. A storage room for bicycles & skis is available. Garden furniture for outdoor dining or sunbathing is also available directly at the house.

Haus Lindenruh is located in the heart of the "Golden Landl", in the beautiful Werdenfelser Land. Situated on the sunny slopes of the Hohe Kranzberg, it has offered our family a cosy home for three generations. And this is exactly what we would like to pass on to our guests. Just a few steps away from the house, you will find yourself in wonderful alpine nature. A blessing for those seeking relaxation as well as for active holidaymakers. And of course a view to kneel down and enjoy!

Haus Lindenruh is the ideal accommodation for all those who want to spend their holidays away from the tourist hustle and bustle. It is only a few minutes' walk down to the old village centre around the picturesque baroque church of St. Peter & Paul, where you can enjoy all the amenities of the climatic health resort. With only a few steps uphill, you enter an enchanting alpine world right behind the house. Fancy mountains, forests and crystal-clear mountain lakes? Beautiful alpine pastures, rustic hut gastronomy and well-maintained hiking trails in summer, as well as a perfectly maintained cross-country skiing trail system and a small, fine skiing area for simple to higher demands in winter. Just come and visit us.

Vacation

Dear Ms. Müller,
We stayed in your holiday apartment from August 25, 2024, to August 31, 2024.
It was our first time in the mountains.
The apartment was very clean with a large terrace and, above all, a breathtaking view of the Karwendel mountain.
The hosts were very, very nice and, above all, they gave us some great tips for hiking.
We will come back next year; there is still much to see.

Successful holiday in early autumn

Einfach

The location is well suited for hiking. The apartment is very simply furnished. Especially when it is cold and damp, there is no way to dry clothes or hair (hairdryer). The towels are scarce. There is almost no information about the area or hiking maps.

beautiful quiet apartment

We stayed at Mrs. Müller's for three weeks and felt very comfortable. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need for a stay. Especially nice is the large terrace with a view of the mountains opposite. Mrs. Müller is a very lovely hostess who inquires every day about the well-being of her guests.

We would like to thank you for the wonderful days in your vacation apartment and the magnificent surroundings of Mittenwald. It was pure relaxation and the Karwendel mountains have left lasting beautiful impressions and memories with us. Thanks also to Mrs. Müller, with whom we were able to have nice conversations. Holiday apartment with breathtaking view

Dear Fam. Müller!
I spent a wonderful week in your house with my dog!
Everything was just perfect: The vacation apartment is furnished in such a way that you don't miss anything, the only small suggestion would be a hairdryer. The view from the large terrace directly onto the town and the opposite Karwendel Mountains is truly fantastic!! The hiking trails around the Kranzberg start right behind the house, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the chairlift. It takes just 10 minutes to reach the beautiful old town of Mittenwald, and I didn't need my car!!
Many thanks to Mrs. Müller senior who always provided me with tips for excursions/hikes and a 100% weather forecast, as well as stories about herself and the town! My dog was also welcome and greeted so nicely every time that he was always happy to come back!
I really enjoyed my vacation and will definitely come back again!!

Fantastic!

A wonderfully cozy, nicely furnished vacation apartment with an incredibly great view over Mittenwald and the Karwendel - with direct access from the terrace! I enjoyed my 5-day stay in the snow very much and will definitely come back sometime.
In 15 minutes you are at the train station, in 10 at the supermarket, and in 3 on the hiking trail.

Simply beautiful!

Unfortunately, we were only at Mrs. Müller's accommodation for a week, but it was truly the most beautiful week of vacation we have had in Germany so far.

We are still quite inexperienced in hiking, but thanks to Mrs. Müller's good tips, we never overestimated ourselves.

Mittenwald is truly very beautiful, the mountains around it are simply a dream for hiking. The people in the village treated us very kindly, the food in every restaurant was perfect, and thanks to daily tips, we always found everything on foot.

The contact with the daughter was very nice. The mother, who lives at the accommodation, is simply lovely. If you have a question, she always knows the answer. When she starts telling stories about the different mountains, paths, about Mittenwald, you just don't want to stop listening.

We will definitely come back! Again, many, many thanks for the wonderful vacation and the numerous tips,

Haus Lindenruh was built in 1924 by my grandparents Thekla & Johann Schöttl as a residential and guest house for summer visitors and winter sports enthusiasts. in 1988, the house was modernised and the rental business was changed from "rooms with breakfast" to holiday flats. Until 2015, the house was managed by my parents. Since 2016, my mother Marianne Müller and I (now the third generation) have been running our small family business.
