A pearl and power place

Everything described by the provider – from the approach to the house to the individual rooms – completely corresponds to reality. But this property is much more than what words and pictures can convey.

It is a place designed with incredible love, creativity, and imagination, where one feels welcomed and comfortable from the very first moment. Each room has its own character and charm and is equipped with everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The surroundings are beautiful, and especially the view is simply breathtaking. Here, it is easy to leave everyday life behind, find peace, and refocus on what is essential. A very special highlight is the round seminar room, which has a magical aura. With its special atmosphere and loving furnishings, it provides the ideal setting for healing work, yoga, meditation, and many other forms of encounter and personal development. The small sauna and the pool are also true gems of this property. Together with the lovingly designed garden and the beautiful terraces, they invite you to pause, recharge, and simply enjoy the moment. The food was diverse and excellent – even for us vegans. We were very satisfied with it.
Everywhere you can feel how much passion, mindfulness, and love have gone into creating this special place. It is a place where body, mind, and soul can find peace and where one can wonderfully connect with oneself and nature. A place full of magic, harmony, and warmth, to which one gladly returns and which one would prefer not to leave at all.

Perfect vacation at Villa Lauri

We spent 3 weeks in this villa and have only words of praise. The house is beautiful and spacious, and the surroundings as well as the area around the pool are enchanting. The entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The house itself is top-notch equipped and has literally everything you need for a completely relaxing and pleasant vacation. The pool is large enough and provides a true refreshment. We especially want to highlight the owner who is a wonderful, friendly, and extremely warm person. He has always been available to us with excellent advice, from which beaches are the best to recommendations for top local restaurants. The location is convenient, the center of Labin is 5 to 7 minutes by car. The location of the villa is excellent as it provides peace, quiet, and privacy. All recommendations for this accommodation, and we will definitely return here.

Villa Romantika

Labin

Fabulous find

Which sights are there in Labin?

Postcard motifs live

Labin is a beautiful holiday destination that not only offers proximity to the beach, spacious accommodations or a great sea view. In the town on the east coast of Istria, several sights are lined up. The town is located on a hill and houses some interesting historical monuments and impressive houses, villas or buildings. Stroll through the picturesque alleys of the old town and explore the highlights on your own. From several platforms, you also get a fabulous view of Rabac and the shimmering blue Adriatic Sea. Here you can experience the typical postcard motifs live! The gate to the old town is particularly impressive. It was built in 1589. You also cannot miss the Venetian bell tower in the center, which measures 35 meters. From here, you also get a wonderful view of the region. Renting a holiday apartment or holiday home here is an ideal starting point for experiencing great sights.

What do you need to experience in Labin?

Nice of Croatia

If you have found a holiday apartment or holiday home, you can plunge into the fun in the best location.

What can you experience in Labin with children?

Action-packed and historical

Labin is always very popular with family vacationers. Dogs are also welcome on many beaches. So nothing stands in the way of a holiday with a dog in Labin! Not only the beaches regularly captivate holiday guests. We also recommend the beaches in Pula, Vinkuran or Banjole for you and your family. You can choose between beautiful pebble, rocky or fine pebble beaches. There is also a wide range of action-packed leisure activities, such as jet skiing, banana boating, pedal boating, and much more. A great sight for the whole family is the amphitheater of Pula. The second-largest arena of the Roman Empire was built from 2 BC to 14 AD and is the sixth-largest of its kind worldwide. Activities for the whole family are, of course, also available in Labin itself. There are several diving centers that offer diving courses to explore the underwater world of Istria. At the riding center, you can ride to your heart's content and breathe in the beauty of nature on the east coast of Istria. Or plunge into a faster adventure. Konoba Rogocana offers quad and scooter rental, as well as quad tours. Smaller visitors can let off steam in the quad park. Rent a holiday home or apartment from a private owner and spend fantastic holidays with the whole family!

Where can I eat out in Labin?

Never deny the origin

If you rent a holiday apartment or holiday home in Labin, you can decide for yourself when and how you want to cater. Istria and Croatia have some delicacies to offer that are worth trying. Along the coast, the chefs mainly rely on Kvarner seafood specialties. But lamb and pasta dishes can also be found on numerous menus. Towards the interior, you will find a greater variety and diversity. There, suckling pig, cheese, potatoes, mushrooms, cabbage, and game also play a significant role. The cuisine is strongly influenced by regional specialties. Flour and sweet dishes have their origins in the nearby former territory of Austria-Hungary or Italy. In the inland, you will find dishes according to old recipes from Zagorje or Gorski Kotar. A delicacy is Paski sir. This is a sheep's cheese whose milk gets a particularly piquant note from wild salty herbs. Popular starters are, for example, squid salad or raw sardines dipped in bay leaves, vinegar, and salt. Grilled and fried dishes are almost everywhere in the Kvarner Bay. Don't be surprised if meat is simmering on a grill under a clay bell outdoors. This is how delicious wild boar roasts are often prepared in Istria.

What is a must-see in Labin?

Reliving past centuries

The town of Labin and Rabac also has a lot to offer culturally. We recommend, for example, the Folk Museum in the Palazzo Battiala Lazzarini, which was built in the 17th century. Here you can see handicraft tools, Roman finds or costumes from long past days. In the summer months, the museum is open until 10 pm. The parish church of the Nativity of Mary, built in 1336 on the remains of a church from the 11th century, is also worth seeing. Various architectural styles were mixed here. You can also view numerous paintings by unknown Venetian painters. A door to the past also opens at the main square Crc. There you will find the 16th-century city loggia, where public life was once led. In front of the loggia is also the pillory. Rent a holiday home or apartment from a private owner and discover the cultural peculiarities of the town and the surrounding area in Istria.

How do I come to Labin?

Along the Coast

Labin is a town in Istria, Croatia. The place is located near the east coast of the Istrian peninsula - halfway between Opatija and Pula. The town is situated above the popular holiday resort of Rabac, which is known as the "Pearl of the Kvarner Bay". If you travel by car or bus towards your holiday apartment or holiday home in Labin, you will come from Central Europe via Villach (Karawankentunnel), Slovenia (Ljubljana, Koper) and further via Buzet. From the direction of the capital Zagreb, you drive to Rijeka and finally along the coast to your accommodation (or villa). You usually don't even need a map for this route. The nearest larger train stations can be found in Rijeka or Pula. There are also airports there, which are served by various airlines. So there are numerous possibilities to start a fantastic holiday with a suitable house or villa with a pool in Istria.
