Beautiful holiday home

The holiday home is beautifully and quietly situated. It is equipped with everything that makes a holiday pleasant. It is extremely clean and lovingly furnished.
The outdoor area also invites you to relax. The pool is also very clean and well maintained.
The communication was excellent via e-mail/SMS and we were always answered very quickly. In short, we felt very comfortable.
The only drawback was the shopping. The supermarket in the village has all the essentials, but for bulk shopping we went to a larger supermarket in Pula.

House Takala, a dream in Istria

We visited the House Takala in June 2020 and felt very comfortable there. We found a lovingly furnished cottage with a lot of charm. The lovingly decoration left nothing to be desired. Even if the houses next door are occupied, you have peace and privacy. It is less than 2 kilometers to the beach. We can absolutely recommend the House Takala.

Everything top !!!

We enjoyed our holiday in Villa Mikulina. The house is comfortable and very clean. It looks like in the photos. The covered terrace is ideal for dinner with the view to the pool. Thanks to the yard, the house is child-friendly.
The landlords are super friendly...it was wonderful there. Highly recommended. Thanks again for the great stay and best regards.

In 1797, Napoleon brought about the decline of the Republic of St. Mark. In the centuries before, the Venetians shaped the entire Adriatic region. The winged lion of St. Mark can be found across Istria, for example, above house entrances. The Old Rakalj (Stari Rakalj) is a ruin situated on a hill above the beach, offering fantastic panoramic views of the Adriatic and the hinterland. In recent years, more and more remains of Old Rakalj have been excavated. In the town center, there is a 16th-century noble palace which houses the municipal magistrate. Rakalj was long famous for its pottery. An ethnographic collection in the birthplace of writer Mijo Mirković houses an exhibition on the cultural history of the town. Pula's history dates back to antiquity, and a visit is worth it, especially to see the Amphitheater, which used to hold more than 20,000 spectators.

Located in the southeast of the peninsula Istria, the small village of Rakalj is on the western shore of the Bay of Raša on the Adriatic coast.
