Very large villa with everything you need

We stayed in this villa 1 week ago and really enjoyed our stay. We were 12 people and really had plenty of space. There was nothing left to be desired, the villa is modern, fully equipped (except for a hairdryer), exactly as pictured and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, there was a large gas barbecue so that we could cook and barbecue for so many people. The rooms are big enough, all air-conditioned and the bathrooms all have a shower, toilet and washbasin. Unfortunately, it was often difficult not to submerge the whole bathroom in the shower, as water kept running through the shower wall. But it wasn't so bad if you were careful. In one room there was even a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom. There was also billiards, darts, table football and table tennis. The pool is really big and heated. There were enough sunbeds and parasols as well as a beach bed. Very comfortable.
The roof terrace offers a good view of the sea in the distance. The area is very rural, a farm is right next to it, but didn't bother us. There are plenty of parking spaces, 2 inside and 3 outside the property. A car is really essential as there is only one very small shop in the village where you can get the essentials

The only thing we had to complain about, and this is really complaining on a high level, there is only one small rubbish bin for 12 people. The rubbish is collected twice a week, but unfortunately there are a lot of cats and dogs that take the rubbish apart if it is not in the bin. The filter coffee machine for 12 people is also very slow and small
About the location, as a tip for subsequent guests. The address is not found by most navigation systems and it does not exist on Google Maps. But with a little searching, you can find the address.

Really a great villa and great landlords.

An idyll in the original Istria

We, two families with two 16 and two 12 year old children, stayed at Villa Adalene in June. It is in a quiet and very idyllic location on the outskirts of Valtura. From Valtura you can reach the beaches on the west, south and east coast in about 20-30 minutes. But it is also a perfect destination in spring and autumn, because you can go hiking and mountain biking directly from the house. For us, the distance to the beach was not a problem because we always had contact with the water after our excursions through the pool. The entire complex is very beautiful and spacious. The hit for our children: there is a very large meadow where you can play volleyball,
The pool is the centrepiece of the villa. It is a great place to swim. Our children had a lot of fun in the pool. We were told that the pumping system of the pool gets problems when the pool loses a lot of water. This can happen due to excessive jumping in. We adjusted our behaviour accordingly. The outdoor seating area is also very nice, with a barbecue and fridge
The furnishings of the rooms are okay, but you can see that they have aged a bit. We could have done without some of the knick-knacks. Mosquito nets in front of the windows would be great and would often save the air-conditioning (maybe they can retrofit this)
It is really quiet. The owners' dog only barked once in a while, sometimes you can hear the dogs in the neighbourhood.
However, if you are looking for a place to party, this is the wrong place
There is plenty of crockery in the kitchen, some of it is getting on in years, the only thing missing was a pasta strainer. Good tap water!
Conclusion: Adalene is a nice place to relax and enjoy. If you are respectful of your surroundings, you can spend a wonderful holiday here. The hosts are friendly and discreet. You can buy good wine and olive oil from them. Ask for Maja, where you can book a fantastic massage!

Very nice family holiday

Everything was wonderful. Although the house is a bit small, it is absolutely sufficient as you are outside most of the time.
Landlord very friendly and despite the proximity very attentive to privacy.
