We have found the peace we were looking for! Thank you very much for that!
We were hiking with our dog in the off-season at the Almchalet Bergzauber. We were able to stay in a clean and fully equipped chalet. Nothing was missing. The pictures correspond to reality. The view in the morning from the breakfast table - priceless.
From the house, you can undertake some beautiful hikes. We would recommend bringing hiking poles. Due to the off-season, the mountain huts were closed, but with the fully equipped kitchen, we were able to take care of ourselves very well. Groceries can be easily purchased "down" in Bad Sankt Leonhard. It is advisable to buy in bulk, as you "can't just quickly" drive down for a piece of cheese. But the refrigerator with a freezer compartment is large enough to stock up on supplies. Other hiking routes are also easily accessible by car. A walk around the Forstsee (above Lake Wörthersee) or a hike from Hüttenberg along the "Old Railway-Themed Path-Mineral Gem" is recommended. Very nice. In Guttaring at the Gasthof Moser, you can experience very good and delicious cuisine. The chef still cooks himself. In nice weather, you can sit outside. Great! The hike up to the summit cross at Geierkogel is also worth seeing. A breathtaking view. Those who would like to do some shopping can do so well in Wolfsberg.
Here there are a few nice shopping options.
All in all, we had a very nice time and can only recommend a stay at the Almchalet Bergzauber. Thank you to the landlords for the chalet furnished with "heart." All the best!

We spent our Christmas vacation in the Bear Cabin. And what can I say, we have rarely seen something so wonderful, calm, and beautiful. The cabin is homely furnished. It felt like coming home. The cabin has 2 very nice bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other room has 2 single beds. The cabin is almost isolated. You can see the neighbors, though. We had a lot of snow. In the basement, you can borrow snowshoes, skis, and sleds. We felt so comfortable. We even had a Christmas tree in the cabin. This tree was so beautiful. Upon arrival, we were received very warmly, no wish went unfulfilled. The surroundings are very beautiful; anyone who loves nature is exactly right there. We only used the car for shopping. Otherwise, we only stayed in the area with beautiful hikes. Our dog Snoopy loved the Waldviertel. So many smells. The lake nearby was always our path in the morning. You can walk around it. The cabin is equipped with everything you need. Nothing was missing. We had a wonderful Christmas celebration, as well as a fun and dance-filled New Year's Eve celebration. We will definitely come back.
