Luxurious Chalet in Obertraun with Pool

The house is really big and nicely done, everything is new and in great condition. For a group of 13 people really enough and everything there, what you need. Unfortunately, the outside is not much green, I hope this will be made up for. The houses are very close to each other, so you can not use the terrace really well. Here it would be nice if, for example, hedges or trees were planted for visual protection. The lake is very close and it is a good starting point for things to do.

Overall, a pleasant experience, the Chalet was exactly as advertised, and the kids loved the garden. It was a bit noisy at times due to the road, but it didn't spoil our stay.

Hike from your holiday home along the Ostuferwanderweg to Schloss Grub on the eastern shore of Lake Hallstatt. The Dachstein Giant Ice Cave, the Mammoth Cave, and the Koppenbrüller Cave were only discovered in the 20th century and are now among the most exciting natural monuments in Austria. The caves can be reached directly from Obertraun by cable car and a short 15-minute hike. Enjoy a panoramic view of the World Heritage region and Lake Hallstatt from the Welterbespirale viewing platform, located at the 2,100-meter-high summit of the Krippenstein, 500 meters above the valley floor.
