We had a wonderful vacation in this great holiday home in the Austrian mountains. The house is well-equipped – we lacked nothing. We especially appreciated the excellently equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds, and also the washing machine.
The absolute highlight was the dreamy mountain view. The large terrace around the house offers a nice spot at any time of day – whether sunny, shady, or wind-protected. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. A clear recommendation!

Key code allows for a relaxed arrival day. House with a great view of the mountains. The amenities left nothing to be desired. The landlord provides great excursion tips - thank you for that as well.

Looking for a ski holiday with accommodation by the slope. And found a cozy hut in a prime location.
The hut has all the comfort and on the large terrace, facing two sides, you have a fantastic view of the valley and the "Bischofsmütze" in the afternoon sun after skiing. For cold evenings, there is a fireplace in the hut for coziness and a special hut feeling. The ski slope itself is only a few steps away, to buckle on the skis and start skiing in the Skiworld Dachstein West via a short connecting path. We will definitely come back.

The Dachstein Salzkammergut region includes the towns of Gosau, Obertraun, Hallstatt, and Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt. Located on the northern side of the Dachstein, the region is characterized by what makes up the charm of the alpine landscape. Gentle alpine heights, idyllic lakes, elongated valleys, and rugged mountain ranges make your stay in a holiday apartment or a cheap holiday home from private an unforgettable experience. The center is Lake Hallstatt, which is shared by Obertraun, Hallstatt, and Bad Goisern. With a depth of 126 meters and 8.6 square kilometers, Lake Hallstatt is one of the most mysterious lakes in Austria. Even in high summer, the water at the surface is no warmer than 21 degrees. The Dachstein in Styria is the second-highest peak in the northern Alps at 2,996 meters above sea level. With its imposing trio, the Dachstein massif stands out from afar. What is truly impressive in the Dachstein Salzkammergut are the many leisure activities that the region offers its guests. From hiking to cycling, snowboarding to skiing, and climbing or simply enjoying the healthy cave air, a holiday in the mountains at the Dachstein is always worthwhile. In summer, the Dachstein Salzkammergut World Heritage region shows its action-packed and idyllic side at the same time. Just like the view from the summit, the excursion possibilities are almost limitless. Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in Austria. In the World Heritage region, you can expect diverse sights, extensive ski and hiking areas, and spectacular natural beauties. In addition to the significant archaeological sites, the rare fauna and flora, a fascinating giant ice cave, the underground whitewater spectacles of the Koppenbrüller cave, and the massive Mammoth cave, the landscape is characterized by a cultural continuity spanning over three and a half millennia. In Ramsau, world champions and Olympic champions repeatedly build up their condition and energy for the upcoming top performances, as Ramsau is the ideal place to strengthen body, mind, and soul. The four-kilometer-wide, 18-kilometer-long, south-facing high plateau is situated at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,300 meters. Ramsau is a top destination for cross-country skiing. The Nordic World Championships took place on the trails in 1999. The 220-kilometer-long trail network in Styria offers ideal conditions for all levels of difficulty at an altitude of 1,100 to 2,700 meters. On and around the Dachstein, you can choose from over 160 hiking routes, via ferratas, and tours. Sometimes demanding, sometimes enjoyable, it goes forward in the Alps. Of course, you can also reach the unique Dachstein glacier cable car at 2,700 meters above sea level. From the balcony of the gondola, you have a unique panoramic view of the Dachstein massif. When you rent a private house or a cozy holiday apartment in the Salzkammergut, numerous sights await you in addition to an impressive landscape. For example, the Ausseer Kammerhof Museum in Bad Aussee is worth seeing. The significant late Gothic architectural monument takes you into the stories and folk culture of the region. The Dachstein Krippenstein cable car takes you effortlessly to the Mammoth Cave, the Dachstein Ice Caves, and the Krippenstein at 2,100 meters. From your holiday apartment or holiday home at the Dachstein, you can reach the Schladminger Tauern in a very short time. Here you will find about 150 waterfalls and a large part of the 300 mountain lakes or Lower Tauern. The Schladminger Tauern High Trail leads over five stages and 45 kilometers through the beautiful Styria. Nestled between the Totem Mountains and the Dachstein massif is the village of Bad Mitterndorf. From the hut to the trail, from the thermal bath to the slope, from hiking to the bathing lake, and from the restaurant to the cable car - the attractions here are limitless. Whether you explore the snow-covered valleys and mountains in winter, hike the Dachstein massif in autumn, enjoy the refreshing lakes in drinking water quality in summer, or marvel at the narcissus blossom in spring, Bad Mitterndorf has much more to offer than you can experience in just one holiday in a holiday apartment or holiday home. An apartment in the Dachstein Salzkammergut is the ideal starting point for a varied holiday at the Dachstein.
A large part of the Dachstein Salzkammergut holiday region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The Krippenstein with its fantastic Dachstein high plateau and the breathtaking "5 Fingers" viewing platform is a spectacle with a thrill. But apart from these sights, the Salzkammergut has a lot to offer. The regional cuisine and traditional costume are omnipresent. Like the mountains and snow, handicrafts and salt belong to this region. In the Hallstatt salt mine, you can take an interesting journey to the
