A beautiful apartment

The apartment is very nice, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed. The service (e.g., offering a ticket for the first bus ride) is well thought out, as there are no tickets available for purchase on the bus. For those arriving by car, a secure parking space is available in the courtyard.
The apartment is on the outskirts of Vienna, and to reach the city center, you first have to take the bus to the subway station. The bus departs right in front of the door, and the frequency is sufficient. We definitely come to Vienna twice a year for a week and would be happy to stay there again, provided the apartment is available.

-Cleanliness: super
-Accuracy of the listing: very good
-Location: public transport or car are necessary to reach sights, restaurants, and shopping options. The apartment is quietly located off the road in a very beautiful garden. However, Vienna Airport is not far away. During the day, overhead planes can be disturbing in the garden. It didn't bother us; we found it rather exciting.
-Facilities and comfort: the bed is comfortable. However, it could be higher and wider! The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are very well equipped. However, a small dishwasher would be very helpful :) There are more than enough towels. I don’t think there is air conditioning. The apartment did not heat up despite high outside temperatures.
-The host was always reachable, helpful, very friendly, and very accommodating.
-The price-performance ratio is definitely okay!

A Relaxing Stay

Die Wohnung ist wunderbar, so friedlich nach dem Trubel der Stadt.
Die Gegend ist ländlich und grün, und es ist nur ein kurzer Sprung mit dem Bus, der direkt vor der Tür hält, zur U-Bahn, von wo aus man einen Zug ins Stadtzentrum nehmen kann.
Aber... Wenn Sie abends lieber entspannen möchten, gibt es zwei Restaurants ganz in der Nähe, eines österreichisch und eines asiatisch.
Es gibt auch eine Bäckerei in fußläufiger Entfernung.

Die Wohnung hat alles, was Sie brauchen und mehr.
Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich und großzügig. Sie weiß wirklich, wie man sich um Urlauber kümmert. Sie gab uns eine umfassende Liste von Anweisungen, eine Flasche hochwertigen Sekt und 2 Packungen österreichischer Waffelgebäck. Köstlich?

How is the weather in Vienna?

The Austrian metropolis is located in the northeast of the country. Here there is a transitional climate between a humid continental and oceanic climate. In spring and summer it rains about nine days a month, compared to other parts of Austria this is relatively little. The seasons are strongly pronounced. The summer is warm, the autumn and spring are mild, the winter is dry and cold. For this reason, the summer is very suitable for open-air events in the parks and on the banks of the Danube. In winter, romantic Christmas markets, premieres of the stages and famous balls invite you. If you are very interested in nightlife, you should choose an apartment in the centre in a good location, so that you do not have to travel long distances at night.

Vienna's attractions have something to offer for young and old

Vienna is home to countless attractions and museums. The city's landmark, St. Stephen's Cathedral, towers over the centre. Work on the Gothic building began as early as 1137. Inside the magnificent interior, you should definitely take a look at the impressive cathedral treasury. Here you will find old books and robes as well as high-quality relics with noble decorations. Some historical celebrities found their final resting place in St. Stephen's Cathedral, such as Prince Eugene of Savoy and the bones of Emperor Frederick III. Of the four towers, the highest is almost 140 meters high. If you have managed the 343 steps, a breathtaking view awaits you. If you have booked an apartment or a private domicile in winter or over Easter, you can listen to impressive sounds in St. Stephen's Cathedral.

A tour on the famous Vienna Giant Wheel in the Leopoldstadt district can be dared all year round. A few years ago it was included in the list of treasures of European film culture. Let the Vienna Prater take you to a height of 65 meters and admire the magnificent view. But there is much more to discover on the Prater in Leopoldstadt and also in the Landstraße district: ghost trains, carousels and restaurants invite you to explore and linger. Unlike other amusement parks, you do not pay a general admission fee, you only have to pay at the respective rides.

A gem of the city is Schönbrunn Palace. It is located in the 13th district and dates back to the imperial era. In 1683 it was so badly damaged that it had to be rebuilt. In 1996, the palace with its dreamlike park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During a visit, you will encounter many richly decorated rooms that were the scene of magnificent parties for centuries. On the ground floor are the White Gold Room with its golden stucco and the Bergl Room, which is adorned with frescoes by Johann Baptist Wenzel Bergl. From the Blue Staircase, the second floor with the Great Gallery and the imposing Mirror Hall is accessible. The Million Room with its palisade paneling is one of the most valuable rooms. After you have admired the rooms of Schönbrunn Palace, you should take some time for a walk through the beautiful park. In the centre is the Neptune Fountain, which was completed in 1780. The baroque-style fountain is about 45 meters wide and 100 meters high. The Schönbrunn Zoo is located in the palace park and, together with the palace, is one of the most visited and important sights in Austria. The zoo is one of the oldest animal parks in the world.
