Description
The holiday home is located on a corner in a row of 3 houses.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa from which you can sit and watch a Netflix movie on a 58' Smart TV with ambient light.
From the same couch you look at a modern kitchen with peninsula, wine cabinet and a Jura coffee machine
In this kitchen you can prepare a delicious breakfast or dinner in no time, which you can then eat on the covered terrace from Wedgwood crockery. In slightly less weather, the sturdy castle table is a cozy place to get together and have dinner or play a game.
From the terrace, which is located on the south, you have a view of the garden and the surrounding mountains.
From the kitchen and the dining table you also have a magnificent view over the southern slopes of the Murtal.
On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms with a double box spring bed with an ensuite bathroom and a bedroom with a specially made bunk bed for 4 adults, also with an ensuite bathroom. There is also a separate toilet on the landing.
The 2 bedrooms with a double bed both have a 43" SmartTV with Ambient Light where you can relax with a movie in the evening or in the afternoon after the activities of the day. The middle room does not have a SmartTV but does have a USB power supply in the reading lamps so that there is at least power for an iPad or the like. has. The same reading lamps are of course also in the other two bedrooms.
After an active day in the mountains, you can completely relax in the wellness area with a Finnish sauna. The sauna and ski storage room with ski boot heating can be found in the basement.
There are 2 parking spaces available under a carport.

Location and surroundings of object
A visit to the beautiful medieval town of Murau, which is 6 km away, is always nice, is highly recommended. Here you will find nice shops, cozy terraces and good restaurants. Murau is slightly larger than Kreischberg and there you can find just a little more types of shops and supermarkets.
In addition to beautiful walks in the mountains, you can also cycle or walk along the Murradweg. This is a famous cycle path along the river Mur right through the region.
Winter in Kreischberg
In winter, from December 1, a fantastic and snow-sure family ski area with over 40 km of slopes and modern lifts is ready to enjoy. The slopes are 350m from the front door.
The Funpark is one of the absolute best in the world! Major FIS competitions are organized here every year. There are also plenty of opportunities here for cross-country skiers and winter hikers.
Fancy tobogganing? You can do that here too!
Swimming in the indoor pool in Murau can of course also be very pleasant after a day in the cold snow.
Summer in Kreischberg
In the summer you can not only move along the Mur but also over the Mur by means of a raft, for those who love fresh water this is definitely recommended.
Between the ski area Kreischberg and the town of Murau is the beautiful 18-hole golf course "Golfclub Murau-Kreischberg". Wooded areas and ponds form a beautiful and varied course. From the terrace of the beautiful clubhouse you have a beautiful view over a large part of the course.
Even for F1 fans it is a good place to stay because the Red Bull Ring is about an hour's drive from the house. Kreischberg is therefore fairly orange during the Formula 1 week.
The tourist office, which is about 50m from the front door, is a great place to pop in and ask what there is to do.

Cancellation terms:

There is also a Jura coffee machine for the real coffee lover.
Please note that pets are only allowed, in consultation, in the summer when there are less than 5 guests in the house.

We, the van Leeuwen - Da Costa Gomez family, opened our newly built house in Kreischberg, Austria, for rental in July 2021. After our 1st visit to the region, in February of 2021, we immediately saw that we would like to come back here more often. The Murtal, in which Kreischberg is located, is a lovely area with lots of recreational possibilities and with wonderfully relaxed people. We are super happy with our house and hope others can enjoy it too.
