The cleanliness of the holiday home was fine, and there was basically nothing lacking in the equipment. It is also worth mentioning the proximity to the beach, which is quickly reachable on foot. The house is also well-suited for dog owners, as the property is completely fenced.
Unfortunately, there was one significant point of criticism:
The hot tub was broken. Upon our arrival, we were informed that the repair would be taken care of and that it should be usable again during our stay. However, this did not happen.
What was particularly frustrating for us was that we had deliberately chosen the holiday home because of the whirlpool. We arrived on my birthday and wanted to treat ourselves to a little break from everyday life there. The hot tub was therefore an important feature for us and a decisive reason for the booking.
Only one day before arrival were we informed that the hot tub was not working. Even more disappointing was the fact that it became apparent on-site that the defect had apparently been known for some time. Had we received this information earlier, we might have reconsidered our booking. Additionally, we found it disappointing that no compensation was offered to us due to the unusable hot tub. Since a significant part of the booked holiday home could not be used during our entire stay, we would have at least expected a small compensation or a corresponding gesture of goodwill.
Aside from that, we had a pleasant stay; however, the unusable hot tub significantly affected the overall impression.

The holiday home is very nicely located, just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful sandy beach in Damp. Everything was very clean and the communication beforehand worked wonderfully. In terms of amenities, everything you need was there, and more. Furthermore, there were five bicycles available for rent in the shed, as well as sand toys, so you don't have to bring them from home. The garden was very cozy and there is a parking space right in front of the door. We can definitely recommend this house and will certainly come back again.

... and have wonderful memories of the stay. Highlights are of course the stunning view of the Lübeck Bay, the very good amenities of the apartment, and the location. All information regarding the stay was extensive and well explained, the local agency was competent, and the communication with the landlord was friendly and helpful with quick responses. Shopping options in Neustadt are available for all everyday needs, and a good parking option in the underground garage is included. Additional parking options for a second car were found "around the corner" on a public street and without parking fees.
We would have liked to extend for another night, but this insider tip is expected to be rented out immediately. We will come back :-)
