Enchanted gem in a quiet location

We were just thinking again about the beautiful days in Selent - I noticed that I hadn't left a review at all. I completely forgot about it in the Christmas hustle and would like to make up for it.
My mother and I had very cozy days in this beautiful, subtly decorated Christmas cottage. It is lovingly furnished, and there is something to discover everywhere. I particularly liked that it was carefully renovated and the historical character was preserved. The beautiful doors, floors, and windows, the stairs leading up... pure romance! The house is excellently equipped and our expectations were far exceeded. It is even more beautiful than in the photos and has an enchanted garden with cozy seating areas. At Selenter Hof, we could eat deliciously, shopping options are also available! The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful area with its estates and lakes or taking a trip to the nearby Baltic Sea. The communication was excellent, Franziska is a perfect host!

Love at first sight

We fell in love with the house and the surroundings at first sight. The house is tastefully and very cozily furnished. Everything we needed was there (except for a fly swatter). Fly screens are definitely missing. Every ventilation was associated with a lot of green flies, which is normal in the countryside. Our neighbor also made sure we were woken up by his farewell honking at 7 a.m.? However, overall we still felt very comfortable. We slept particularly well on the mattresses (from Bodyguard). Our next mattress choice will not be difficult for us anymore. The surroundings are beautiful and exceptionally suitable for long and varied bike tours. Anyone who wants to swim in the Baltic Sea should definitely go to Sehlendorf (however, one has to pay an entrance fee if driving there by car). Weißenhäuser Strand is very stony and difficult to walk on barefoot and to get into the water barefoot. The smokehouse in Harmsdorf is highly recommended. Those who love ham and sausage must visit the smokehouse. The house and the surroundings are very recommendable, and we will definitely spend our vacation there again.
