Relaxing days in a charming holiday home with great service

We had a wonderful time at the holiday home Möwenschiss. The house is very charming and lovingly furnished. We particularly liked the bright conservatory and the many bathrooms – a real plus point, especially with several people.

Another great service was the already made beds, the initial supply of toilet paper and hand soap, as well as the chilled mineral water upon arrival. One immediately notices that a lot of attention and hospitality is being put into this.

The option of not having to empty the dishwasher upon departure is also a really big plus. This makes the departure significantly more relaxed and is certainly very accommodating for guests.

We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend the house.

Dreamlike holiday home in a quiet location

We spent New Year's Eve with our dogs at the Baltic Sea in the Küstenrose, and the vacation exceeded our expectations. The house is very quietly located, with a completely fenced and secluded garden, there is a playground for children in the immediate vicinity, and the Baltic Sea is only a 10-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride away. The highlight of the vacation was the first dip in the Baltic Sea on January 1st and the subsequent warming sauna session in the holiday home. Definitely worth a trip at any time of year, we will come back!

Beautiful quiet house

The trigger for our trip to this beautiful area on the Baltic Sea was the crime series ("Böse See", "Tod im Strandhaus"...) by the author Petra Tessendorf, who herself lived in Ostholstein for eight years and knows the area and the Hohwachter Bay well. The Wesseker Strandhaus was also a good starting point for exploring the many beautiful destinations (e.g. Heiligenhafen with the Graswarder, the restaurant "Genueser Schiff" in Hohwacht, Fehmarn Island, etc.) mentioned in the books. The Wesseker beach house is well-equipped and has been renovated with great attention to detail. We only missed a large pot for soup or spaghetti and perhaps a cosmetic trash can in the bathroom. The garden is very nice and our dog also enjoyed it. Dog owners should note that the nearest beach is 2-3 kilometers away and there is already a dog ban on the beach starting from April 1st (even for leashed dogs, due to the breeding season). There is a dog beach about three kilometers away, but it is very rocky and not suitable for longer walks on the beach. However, you can take beautiful hikes above the cliffs, which our little (hunting) dog enjoyed a lot. We would love to vacation again at the Wesseker Strandhaus (mainly in the off-season). Best regards from Berlin!
