It is designed for up to four people and combines the cozy charm of a traditional thatched-roof house with modern living comfort. The house features a cozy porch that invites you to enjoy the fresh forest air and start the day relaxed with an outdoor breakfast. Inside, a bright and welcoming living room awaits you, with its cozy sitting area with TV and a dining area, the ideal spot for spending evenings together. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare your favorite dishes. A wooden staircase leads to the tastefully furnished bedrooms with comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep. The modern bathroom with open shower and an additional guest toilet provide pleasant comfort. Of course, the house has free Wi-Fi.

Oasis on Rügen
Finally a holiday home that looks as cozy in reality as it does in the many pictures. Right from the beginning, we felt very comfortable. Everything was absolutely clean and the furnishings with many loving details contributed to the fact that we could spend a wonderful week there. The natural garden invites you to linger - also in the hammock we brought with us. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the house and in Baabe you can get everything you need for your daily needs (and more). You can explore the beautiful area both by bike and with the Bimmelbahn. We had the feeling that we were living in this house on Brautsteg in a small oasis on Rügen. We will definitely come back one day.

That's all you need to be happy on vacation.
From the beginning, we felt very comfortable in the small house. Everything you need was there. In short, the facts. 5 minutes walk to the beach. 6 minutes walk to the dog beach. Both beaches are very beautiful. Attention, booking a beach chair at least 4 months in advance if needed. The kitchen has everything you need for a vacation. The house also has a nice covered terrace where we had breakfast every morning. Many restaurants can be reached within 5 minutes' walk without reservations. The house is very quiet and you can sleep with the windows open at night. The large, natural, fully fenced property with many trees is a DREAM for every dog. Conclusion; it is not an air-conditioned 5-star hotel, but it is clean inside, modernly renovated, centrally located and yet very quiet, you can park your car or bus in the enclosed shady parking lot. The dog has a great time and nothing stands in the way of a nice vacation. Ideal for 3 to a maximum of 4 people. We would love to come back!!!

Room for improvement
General situation: very good - close to the beach and shopping facilities.
The holiday home is situated on a small hill with stair access. Unfortunately, we had to clear the stairs and the outdoor area a bit from the natural surroundings. (pine cones and needles)
The interior appeared very tidy and clean but is very sparsely furnished. The kitchen is adequate but without a microwave. In the living room, there is a defective sofa bed and the TV does not work during rainy weather. There is also little storage space in both toilets. A washing machine is not available for vacationers (according to the owner's statement).
Access to the bedrooms is only possible via a narrow and creaky wooden staircase.
One bedroom can be locked with a door, the other is open towards the staircase. Both have limited storage options as well. Our biggest point of criticism is the poor drainage in the toilets and especially in the shower. Very unhygienic. Only in the last 4 days (out of our 14 days) has the problem improved.

Wir hatten uns vor Ort kennen-, aber nicht schätzen gelernt. Wer sich auf einem Waldgrundstück über Kiefernzapfen und Nadeln, sowie bei einem reetgedeckten gemütlichen Holzhaus über knarrende Holztreppen erregt und sich wundert, dass der Fernsehempfang bei Gewitterregen vorübergehend gestört ist, muss schon etwas eigenartig gestrickt sein. Wer das moderne Duschbad und die modernen Toiletten, die vom Reinigungsdienst blitzblank geputzt waren, als „unhygienisch“ bezeichnet, ist schlicht bösartig und absichtlich geschäftsschädigend. Ob das Haus „spartanisch eingerichtet“ ist, kann jeder anhand der Fotos selbst beurteilen.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus
We stayed in this cute holiday home in October. The house was very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The house is comfortably furnished. What we personally found a bit lacking was the storage space for clothing. The garden is natural and you can't see directly into the property, which we liked. The property is also great for dogs, as it is completely fenced and there is a lot to discover. It would be very nice if the house description could mention that one bedroom is open and not lockable with a door. I would definitely book the house again with my husband but not with a friend, as the second lockable bedroom was missing. The location of the house is also great, everything is accessible in a very short time.

Very cozy, right in the middle yet with a lot of privacy.
We really liked the Brautsteg holiday home, 2 adults, 2 children. A wild garden shields the house well from all neighbours, the beach is only a few meters away. I especially appreciated how clean the house was, including the cupboards and drawers. We would love to come back.
