Description
ANNO 1833. We are very proud of the old lady, which is available to you as a holiday home for 8 people. We have put a lot of time and attention to detail into the renovation and furnishing. Where possible, we have preserved old elements - such as the monastery stones in the entrance area or the old floorboards. Although it has a few "quirks" here and there, it still exudes the quaint charm that we love about the house. In some places we have uncovered the quarry stone wall. Some of the furniture is homemade from old, used wood. If you are of "average" height, it is better to bend down at one or two of the passages.
As we have two small furry noses ourselves, dogs are of course welcome. Four dog bowls, two blankets and two pillows are available for your four-legged friends.
The old quarry stone farmhouse is located in the small village of Büscheich, a district of Gerolstein in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel. The village with its 450 inhabitants lies at the foot of the 617 m high Dietzenley and directly on the popular Eifelsteig hiking trail. Büscheich itself lies at an altitude of just under 500 metres. It is about 4 km to the centre of Gerolstein. In Gerolstein you can find everything your heart desires.
The house has a ground floor and an upper floor, distributed over 155 sqm and is heated with a pellet heating system. In the transitional period you can conjure up cosy warmth with the fireplace. The property has a total size of approx. 560 sqm
Already in the ENTRANCE AREA, sofa, armchairs & Co. invite you to linger by the large fireplace.
Furthermore, on the GROUND FLOOR there are the 1st and 2nd bedroom, a room with table football, the 1st bathroom (daylight, shower, washbasin, WC) and the access to the barn. The barn offers enough space to park bicycles or motorbikes. You will also find the wood for the fireplace there
On the upper floor you will find bedrooms 3 and 4 (passage room), bathroom no. 2 (shower, washbasin, toilet), an anteroom with day bed/sofa and the large living/dining area with kitchen.
THE KITCHEN is equipped with sink, dishwasher, oven, induction hob and separate refrigerator. Furthermore, coffee machine (Senseo & filter coffee), kettle and toaster are at the start. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans & Co. obligatory.
MEDIA: Small stereo system (radio | CD | Bluetooth) in the living / dining area, flat screen TV & free W-LAN. We have a W-LAN amplifier in the upper hallway, so you should have reception (almost) in the whole house. In the table football room there is a hi-fi amplifier with hi-fi speakers and mobile phone connection.
GARDEN: You can make yourself comfortable in the garden both in front of and behind the house. The property is completely fenced in with a bonanza fence or wire mesh fence. There is a large barbecue and seating in front of and behind the house.

A very special holiday home
We were here with friends for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay without any restrictions. Perfect house that allows for plenty of space and sociability. Generous atmosphere, tasteful and pragmatic furnishings and equipment, super nice and reliable landlady, quiet location directly in nature. It was wonderful, thank you very much!

Absolutely magical
More than recommended. Such a lovely, with attention to detail designed cottage. We were there over Christmas, already the communication before the visit was very nice and friendly. We were provided on site with two bottles of champagne, delicious chocolates and treats for our four-legged friend. The whole house was decorated for Christmas and even a small Christmas tree was ready for us. If there was a problem, we were immediately helped by message, even on public holidays. I can absolutely recommend it and will definitely book the house again if the opportunity arises. There was always a nice and warm contact. Absolutely recommendable. I was simply enchanted.

Super great house!!!
We were 8 people and one child with 4 paws at Anno 1833. We were full of anticipation and that was exceeded by far. The house is very cosy and there is enough space. It has everything your heart desires ❤️. Enough dishes... glasses... baking paper... toilet paper... etc. even coffee, tea, filter paper and much more. There is firewood... and it is soooo cosy to sit by the fireplace with a glass of champagne or beer and the right people. The garden is also totally romantic. Unfortunately, we had a rainy weekend, but that allowed us to fully enjoy the great house without any guilty conscience. You couldn't get enough of the beautiful and lovingly furnished house.
And the absolute highlight is the landlady. Such a dear and accommodating person... we will definitely come back. Thanks again dear Mrs. Dötsch for the great reception !!
By far, it was the most beautiful house we have booked so far. My friends were also totally thrilled.
Everything is also available for the four-legged friends... bowls... blankets... simply great !!!

Sehr liebevoll restauriert und eingerichtet

Simply great!
We stayed there for a week with two families, including two dogs. The house exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and cozy. It is lovingly decorated with many small details. Everything was perfect and we really didn't miss anything. The nearby Gerolstein had everything you need. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful and relaxing short vacation.
Together with friends, we spent our short vacation in this beautiful vacation home. There was sufficient space for us - 4 adults and 3 children. Upon entering the house for the first time, we immediately felt comfortable and admired the mix of lovingly selected decoration and well-preserved old elements of the house. We have rarely seen such a harmonious and lovingly furnished vacation home. The house is well equipped with everything you need for life. The starting point is also ideal for hiking tours. Gerolstein is only a few minutes' drive away. We would love to come back.

Simply wonderful!
We had a wonderful holiday in the Eifel!
There was a lot to discover in this beautiful old house. The layout inside alone is a wonderful journey of discovery :)
We enjoyed our time very much.

Dream house with attention to detail
We spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend with 7 girls. The house is absolutely fantastic, with a lot of attention to detail and great highlights in the form of homemade furniture, the preserved charm of the house itself and enough space to feel comfortable even with several people.
The kitchen is well equipped and nothing else was missing.
Very clean, well maintained and a beautiful, quiet environment.
The lovely landlords are always available for questions and we left with a heavy heart.
In the surrounding area you can reach many sights and shopping facilities in a short time by car. In the village itself you can go for a walk or two.
And when the weather is bad, you are almost glad that you can stay in the house and enjoy the atmosphere without missing anything.
A haven of peace and pure relaxation! If you need action, you'd better look elsewhere. ?

Oasis of well-being
This was the second time we stayed at the Anno, and it felt like coming home? It is not a classic holiday home, you can feel the love with which this little house was prepared in every room. We spent another great weekend here, explored the surroundings even further and found beautiful hiking trails. After the hikes or the shopping tour in Gerolstein, we warmed up by the great fireplace. We will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

Arrive + feel good
We celebrated my birthday with three generations in your beautiful domicile.
Frau Holle conjured up a great winter wonderland for us as a present.
We found a spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished house, we wanted for nothing.

Oasis of well-being in the green
This holiday home is a dream. It has been renovated with so much attention to detail. We felt right at home. It is beautiful and lacked nothing. We had a great time. We would definitely like to come back.
The landscape is perfect for finding peace and quiet and switching off. The landlords are incredibly nice, very helpful and always available.

Farmhouse with charm
The charm of a house where wood comes first is definitely captured here. Beautifully quaint as you would imagine, crooked and crooked in places, but that's the way it should be and it fits.
There is enough space for this and that, whether at the table football, at the wood-burning stove or in the anteroom to the kitchen, dining and living room.
