Welcome to our beautiful holiday home Alfbachtal!
The log cabin offers you space for up to 4 people on 50sqm.
The house has a cosy living room with a dining area and a kitchen. In addition to a dishwasher and a cooker (including oven), a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a filter coffee machine, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle are available. Pots, plates and cutlery are also provided. The comfortably furnished living room has a TV and a fireplace, which provides a romantic and cosy atmosphere on cool summer and winter evenings. There is plenty of wood available for firing.
Furthermore, you will find the bathroom with shower and toilet as well as a washing machine on the ground floor.
Furthermore, you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor - with a double bed and a bunk bed and custom-made cupboards for your luggage.

Location and surroundings of object
The Eifel National Park starts right at the property. Experience unique holidays in nature - simply wonderful.
The log cabin is located outside the village of Habscheid in a wonderful secluded location with panoramic views, surrounded by trees that also provide a home for numerous species of birds and squirrels that regularly visit our guests.
The holiday home is in the immediate vicinity of the Eifel-Ardennes cycle path, which was built on the former railway line Prüm - Pronsfeld -Bleialf - and has a length of 37km. On the almost flat or only gently ascending route, you can relax and enjoy the landscape panorama of the German-Belgian Nature Park. With a bit of luck, you can observe beavers, deer, wild cats, fire salamanders, brook lampreys and much more in the Alfbach valley. As a contemporary witness of the Westwall from World War II, there is a bunker complex right next to the holiday home, which was blown up after the war.
We are the ideal starting point for extensive hiking and cycling tours in the Eifel Nature Park.
The "Black Man" is the highest point of the Schneifel and can be reached in about 10 minutes from the holiday home.
The name "Schwarzer Mann" (Black Man) is said to come from the black faces of the miners when mining lead ore in the mine of Bleialf . Rare plant and animal species such as royal fern and wildcat occur at the "Schwarzer Mann"
There is a winter sports centre with ski and toboggan lifts and two cross-country ski trails (12 and 18 km). During the winter, a hiking trail of about 5 km is cleared.

A paradise of tranquility
We are here for the second time now and will also come for a third and fourth time. The tranquility here is a dream. The birds greet you every morning because the landlords have hung up feeding stations everywhere. The house is furnished with love and care. In the kitchen (important for women), there is nothing missing. Everything is really there. The landlords are super nice and do what is possible. Absolutely great...

Dreamlike time out from everyday life
The landlord has furnished the house with extreme attention to detail, the highlight being the numerous bird feeders in front of the house windows. From early in the morning until dusk there is a lot of bird traffic and you can observe a breathtaking variety of birds. The location of the cottage is indescribably beautiful - in the middle of the forest and embedded in nature. In the evening, the songs of the owls bring you to bed, you sleep soundly and completely undisturbed. As for the facilities, the house has a fully equipped kitchen with all the trimmings (very high quality) and the landlord also provides firewood for the stove. We would love to come back at any time of the year, as the Eifel simply has too much to offer for nature lovers.

Sehr gemütlicher Aufenthalt
Die Hütte war genau wie erhofft. Abseits gelegen mit sehr viel und schöner Natur um die Hütte herum. Die Ausstattung hat auch nichts vermissen lassen.

Great log cabin in the countryside!
We stayed in the beautiful log cabin for a week to get away from the big city for a while and felt very comfortable. The rooms are not big, of course, but it is very cosy and you have everything you need in the house!
On the property, you are completely alone and have no direct neighbours, only a little further down the hill. We therefore enjoyed sitting outside to eat or read
It is also very nice to watch the birds and squirrels, which like to come right up to the window for the laid out food
Parking is no problem, as you can access the property directly from the small road that runs past. The garden is completely fenced and gates can be closed, which is certainly interesting for people with dogs that are not too keen on escaping
We spent most days walking in the nearby surroundings. You are immediately in nature, so you don't necessarily have to drive somewhere first. We often walked 6-8 km without meeting a soul
The landlord was super nice and always had good tips at hand when needed
We can definitely recommend a visit to the Alfbachtal holiday home!

Perfect for us!
Not only that we were allowed to be guests at such short notice, but everything was perfect for us!
Very friendly landlords, uncomplicated handling, fantastic location - one could list so many things but it would be a very long text...we felt very comfortable and if feasible, we will gladly come back sometime!

Tolle Auszeit in der Natur
Wir haben ein Wochenende mit Kind und Hund im schönen Ferienhaus verbracht .
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich . Es ist umgeben von schöner Natur und unsere Tochter konnte beim Frühstück die Eichhörnchen und Vögel an den Futterstationen am Fenster beobachten. Die Umgebung lädt zu langen Spaziergängen in der Natur ein . Ein wirklich schönes Wochenende. Wir kommen gerne wieder .

Entspannter Urlaub in der Natur
Das gemütliche und gut ausgestattete Holzhaus liegt ruhig am Waldrand, das Grundstück ist eingezäunt, was für Hundebesitzer wirklich schön ist! Vom Esstisch aus kann man alle möglichen Vogelarten und Eichhörnchen beim Besuch der Futterhäuschen beobachten, besser als jedes TV-Programm! Zum Wandern und Fahrradfahren ist die Gegend ideal. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen und können diese Unterkunft allen ruhesuchenden und naturliebenden Menschen wirklich empfehlen.

Natur und Ruhe pur!
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem tollen Blockhaus verbracht.
Es liegt ganz für sich alleine mitten in der Natur, umgeben von vielen Vögeln, die wir während dem Frühstück direkt von unserem Fenster aus beobachten konnten. Da das Grundstück eingezäunt ist, konnte auch unser Hund sich richtig wohlfühlen. Das Haus mit Kamin ist wirklich gemütlich und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Es hat sogar W-lan. Ein großes Dankeschön an die liebe Familie Hack! Wir kommen ganz bestimmt noch einmal wieder!!!

Schöne Ferien in der Schneifel
Unser Urlaub in diesem gemütlichen Blockhaus im Wald wird uns noch lange sehr positiv im Gedächtnis bleiben. Die Ausstattung war klasse! Ob die perfekt ausgestattete Küche, ebenso das moderne Badezimmer mit Topwaschmaschine, das Wohnesszimmer mit Exclusivblick auf Eichhörnchen,Dompfaffen,Kleibe r, Meisen usw. das kuschelige Schlagzimmer...alles bestens! Viel Info über die Umgebung und Sehenswürdigkeiten lag aus,um dann gleich auf den zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrräder erste Erkundungen zu machen. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt zu Fam.Hack. Alles in Allem nur zu empfehlen für Natur-und Tierliebhaber und Menschen, die Ruhe und Ländlichkeit lieben...so wie wir und trotzdem nicht auf die Annehmlichkeiten eines modernen Haushaltes verzichten wollen.

...und ewig schweigen die Wälder ????????
Wunderbares kleines ruhiges Häuschen mit perfekter Ausstattung für ein schönes ruhiges Silvester mit Kind und Hund . Unser Sohn war glücklich über einen schönen großen Fernseher mit viiiielen Programmen, das extrem gemütliche Sofa und natürlich das WLAN. Unser Hund fand die totale Ruhe genial, die Wiesen und Felder rundherum und musste tatsächlich angeleint werden wegen all der vielen Wildtierfährten draußen. Die Vogel-Futterstellen vor dem Esszimmerfenster bieten Unterhaltung im Sekundentakt vom Kleiber bis zum Buntspecht. Mein Mann und ich haben die ausgedehnten Spaziergängen mit Hund sehr genossen, fernab von Großstadt und Autolärm...und erst dieser riesige Sternenhimmel in der Nacht...fantastisch ! Im halbstündigen Auto-Radius um das Haus gibt es einige Burgruinen zu besichtigen - alles in allem ein rundum erholsamer Kurzurlaub. Danke schön !!! Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.
