Great villa with restrictions!

We were with our family (5 adults, 1 child, 2 babies) for a five-day short trip in Villa Vajuma.

The house is apparently very well equipped, but upon closer inspection, some small details stand out.

Negative:
- in the attic, the "bed" of the third bedroom is a sofa bed.
So we basically slept on a board covered with foam, back pain was inevitable.
- in the nightstand, there were two used tissues. Yuck.
- the skylight above the sofa bed is missing a roller blind, blackout pleat, or similar.
We have made do and taped the window shut.
- the cabinet for the microwave does not stay up, but always falls directly down
- a window in the living room barely closes
- the toys are partly really very old (the horses are losing their ears, some of the Barbies have no hair left, the toy store is about to tip over)
- ! Attention, here you must sweep/vacuum yourself before checkout on your vacation! Positive:
- the contact with the landlords was always very nice and easy via WhatsApp
- a very detailed information folder was sent in advance and helped with the preparation
- the hot tub was 1A clean and very easy to adjust
- the garden is super large and the swing, slide, and nest swing are great
- the location is very good and quiet, you can quickly get everywhere by car
- there are no worries about parking due to the large garage / parking spaces
- washing machine and dryer were available for free use
- towels and bed linen were included

Overall, we had a few nice days, but we would not book the villa again due to the necessary cleaning work and the lack of a third bedroom.

Found peace and relaxation

This holiday home is truly a guarantee for a few lovely days, ideally with plenty of sunshine and a perfect balcony for relaxing.
Barbecuing was also possible on the Mediterranean terrace, undisturbed and unseen.
We took off the couch in the living room and made ourselves comfortable there as well.

Everything was super clean and well thought out, from ice cubes in the freezer, baking paper for the new baking tray, coffee and tea... The bakery is really not far, of course on foot, and delicious rolls simply belong to breakfast.

If we wanted to experience something, we drove to Trier and Cochem. Also really beautiful cities. Would love to go again.

Overall, we can say that this cute little house and the reliable landlord are definitely worth recommending.

We spent a few days in this beautiful Eefelhuus-Charly in April. In the cozy atmosphere and with the comfortable amenities, we felt at home right away. We lacked nothing. The house's hiking map served us well, as Kalterherberg is the ideal starting point for a hiking holiday. We thank the landlord for the nice contact and the good support on site.
