Description
The safety, recreation and health of my guests is very important to me. For this reason, there are now two carbon monoxide detectors and two smoke detectors in this holiday home. A contactless arrival and departure system also protects my guests!
Be my guest in the beautiful holiday home in the middle of Bad Bertrich between the Volcanic Eifel and the Moselle. The house was extensively renovated until 2017 and in 2023 and changed with many new furnishings after my acquisition.
On the ground floor, you enter through the hallway into a large dressing room with adjoining bedroom. On this floor there is also a guest toilet, where the heating and washing machine with the detergents are located.
Via the easily accessible wooden staircase you reach the upper floor, the cosy living area, the kitchen with dining table and chairs, the bathroom with a round shower, washbasin and toilet and, not to forget, the large balcony, which is equipped with a nice sitting lounge and offers a view of the beautiful village centre and an equally beautiful far view.
Next to the house entrance is also my covered outdoor seating area, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and your privacy, secluded from the street. Do you fancy a cosy and delicious barbecue evening? No problem, just use the charcoal grill.
If you want to explore the area with your bicycles, you can store them safely and securely in the cellar room.
The entire house is equipped with insect screens, except for the two skylights, and you can leave the balcony door open with peace of mind; a curtain with magnetic closure should keep the insects out.
A large stand fan helps you in higher temperatures. It is always wonderfully cool in the lower area.
Due to the contactless handover, you are flexible in arriving and departing, a key safe hands you the keys. The exclusive use of our holiday home guarantees you the greatest possible protection and unrestricted privacy.

Location and surroundings of object
You will find our holiday home in the idyllic Üßbachtal, between the Moselle and the Volcanic Eifel, in the centre of Bad Bertrich. This small spa town is a gem of relaxation and recreation. The house was built directly on an impressive, rustic rock massif which shows the explosive past of the nine volcanoes that were active years ago.

Schon und gemutlich
We have had such a wonderful week in this nice house. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. It has all you need and we felt at home.The environment is great. The beautiful woods where we made long walks with our dog, we made a nice trip to the moezel and we loved the bath and sauna. Very recommendable. We will probably come back!

Nice little house!
The house is super clean. The equipment is top notch. A lot of effort has been put into little attentions. The mattresses are very comfortable. The location in the village is perfect. We will definitely come back.

Nice week
We can recommend this house without exception! It is a very small spa town that is very nice and located in a small valley! The house is very well furnished, just right for two people! The town itself is not very exciting because it is very manageable, but cozy! It is about 7 km to the Moselle and there you can find everything your heart desires! All in all, four out of five stars!

To feel at home
I have not experienced anything like this before, from contacting the landlord to the stay... Everything was perfect!
Very nice landlady, the location is super central in Bad Bertrich, yet quiet. A small, fine cottage - perfect for 2 people - with everything you need! We walked in and immediately felt at home and not like in a vacation rental. It feels as if the landlords only unpacked their clothes... many lovely details, cozy, no old stuff, everything works, good equipment and very clean... You don't hear anything from the neighbors, you can quickly walk everywhere, ideal as a starting point for hikes! MATTRESSES not worn out and comfortable. It's important to be able to climb stairs... We will gladly come back.. And thanks for the surprise upon arrival!

Retreat to recharge
Haus Sonnenschein is a small oasis of peace, exactly in the middle between the beautiful Vulkaneifel and Mosel. No matter what the weather is like, it is wonderful to stay there and there is much nature, wellness, and wine culture to explore. As a couple with a dog, we felt completely comfortable and enjoyed our time. The house was wonderfully equipped down to the smallest detail, from the coffee machine to the DVD collection.

Schönes, erholsames Wochenende!
Tolles Ferienhaus mitten im Ort. Alle Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Natur (ebenfalls sozusagen vor der Haustüre) ist wunderschön und die entsprechenden Wege alle gut zu meistern.
Besonders toll ist, dass man wirklich ganz für sich ist, obwohl man mittendrin ist. Das liegt u. a. daran, dass das Haus etwas zurück an einer kaum befahrenen Straße liegt.
Im Haus wurde wirklich an alles gedacht und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Selten wurde mein Geschmack so gut getroffen wie hier. Ganz besonders die Handtücher im Bad und die Bettwäsche.
Viele Möglichkeiten um auch bei schlechterem Wetter keine Langeweile aufkommen zu lassen. Bücher, Spiele und Filme sind reichlich vorhanden! Auch das smart-TV lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Fazit: SEHR gerne wieder! Preis-Leistung absolut optimal! BESSER GEHT NICHT!

Sehr erholsam
Haus Sonnenschein verdient seinen Namen zu recht.
Alles war sehr sauber. Liebevolle Details, wie eine Falsche Sekt und Gläser auf dem Wohnzimmertisch und ein bereits gedeckter Frühstückstisch, laden gerade dazu ein wieder zu kommen.
Der Kontakt zu Frau Simons war sehr herzlich.
Wir können das Haus zu 100 % weiter empfehlen.

Erholsame Momente
Es waren sehr schöne Urlaubstage mit viel erholsamen Momenten, der Balkonmit dem herrlichen Ausblick über Bad Bertrich. Auch ist die Mosel sehr schnell Erreichbar für viele Ausflüge zu den Weinorten.
Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit Willkommensgruß, sehr gemütlich, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht

Entspannung pur
Trotz Corona hatten wir 3 super schöne Tage, es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Leckerer Willkommensgruß! Super sauber, Ausstattung einfach perfekt, die Aussicht vom Balkon unbezahlbar. Der 2 malige Besuch in der Therme war richtig schön und Essen in den fußläufigen Restaurants haben sich gelohnt. Kontakt mit der Vermieterin herzlich und absolut zuverlässig. Kommen garantiert wieder, kurze Anreise, Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe, uneinsehbarer Aufenthalt im Freisitz mit Liege, Tisch etc, super dicke Badetücher und noch vieles mehr. Wiederholung bereits geplant und gebucht.

Kleines, gemütliches Haus Sonnenschein
Wir haben unseren Kurzurlaub in dem kleinen Fachwerkhäuschen sehr genossen. Man ist privat für sich und kann wunderbar draussen sitzen. Alles war sehr sauber! Die Wanderungen mit unserem kleinen Hund konnten direkt vor der Haustür beginnen und eine gut Pizzeria nebenan ist auch nicht zu verachten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Toller Kurzurlaub
Sehr netter Kontakt und schnelle Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter. Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Auf Sauberkeit wird viel Wert gelegt und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche übrig.
Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben.
Bad Bertrich ist ein kleines aber sehenswertes Örtchen, das zum Bummeln und Schlemmen einlädt.
Vulkaneifel und Mosel sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbare Ausflugsziele.
Ausgedehnte Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen können direkt vom Ferienhaus aus gestartet werden.
Für uns war es ein gelungener Kurzurlaub und wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!
