We spent here five beautiful days. The apartment is large and clean. Mr. and Mrs. Heinen are super friendly and very helpful. We felt completely at home, and for our two-year-old son, it was absolutely dreamy with the sandbox right by the house and the daily trips to the chickens and goats. We would love to come back. In earlier reviews, it has been indicated that the decor/accommodation could be considered quite outdated. There is little to argue about this. It is very uncomfortable that there is no toilet on the first floor (where the bedrooms are) and that at night one must use a rather difficult staircase to the ground floor where both toilet and bath and sink are present. The absence of a dishwasher - especially with a larger occupancy - confirms that qualification. The absence of a freezer compartment makes more frequent visits to the supermarket necessary. A significant problem was the extremely difficult locking of the house with the provided key. Lastly: the owners turned out to be extremely friendly people (who, by the way, could not solve our door locking problems) and the surroundings of the house were particularly beautiful.
