In the holiday home, everything we needed was present, it was clean, quietly located, sauna as a plus point.
Beautiful surroundings, ideal for hiking trips, about an hour from Trier and the Moselle, which are definitely worth a visit.

An overwhelming house

We – this is a group of 10 people (cousins and cousins with partners) in the so-called "best age" – have been traveling once a year for 8 years to a family reunion in a vacation home. So far, we had a favorite that became the "temporary headquarters" of the family and where we felt quite comfortable. This year, however, we wanted to try something new.

During our research, we came across the vacation home Schönblick. What we had seen and read about it on the internet was promising. But what does reality look like?

Last weekend (Thursday - Sunday) it was finally time. Curious and full of expectations, we gradually moved into the house. And?

All expectations were met in real life, even exceeded.

A large, sparkling clean house that is tastefully and stylishly furnished and maintained from the basement to the roof. The outdoor area doesn't have to hide behind it either. We felt like we were in a private home with good friends and not in a holiday house.

Everything is available. In sufficient quantities and in tip-top condition. New or like-new appliances. The electric broom is particularly original. Everything shows no signs of use, furniture without scratches, room furnishings wow. And nothing from the nightmare that travelers can sometimes encounter: Worn-out furniture, still the old couch from grandma set up, mismatched cutlery, and a hodgepodge of dishes.

In short, our previous family residence (holiday home) has had its day. From now on, everyone in our group will enter the holiday home Schönblick into the GPS. We are already looking forward to 2027.

We found a wonderful large and generously sized attic apartment at the Mancke family, which was cozy and warm heated in the icy cold and wonderfully furnished partly with their own artworks like a real private apartment. The Mancke family themselves were pleasantly reserved, always friendly, and grateful and open to all our wishes, tips, and suggestions. Timely support even on holidays. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, and we were very lucky to be completely snowed in, which gave us a white Christmas while still being mobile. For couples who desire a lot of peace, our unconditional recommendation goes to the Mancke family. Best regards and once again thank you for the lovely Christmas time with you. Simone and Peter
