Dreamlike autumn vacation with children and dogs

We had a lovely week at the Forest Lake in the Forest House. The house is located almost at the top of the settlement. In autumn, you have a colorful view of the mountains. Great is that the garden is fenced. The sauna is of course top-notch and was used almost daily. In the house, you miss almost nothing, except maybe a fireplace and a washing machine. The Forest Lake invites beautiful walks or hikes. There are also great excursion destinations in the nearby area. It never gets boring. We will definitely come back again, because both our children, our dogs, and we parents felt very comfortable.

Bus to the kitchen everything is great!

The forest house pleased us very much. We found the location very convenient for dog owners, as you can quickly get into nature. Extremely pleasant: the sauna!!! The bedrooms are relatively small, but the living room is spacious and nicely furnished. Our only point of criticism is the inadequate kitchen setup: only 4 tablespoons (for 6 people), no hand mixer, a rather worn-out baking tray, little storage space for supplies.

Hiking, cycling holiday with dog

We spent 2 weeks in the forest house with our dog (Labrador). We were warmly welcomed by the Krupica family and felt comfortable right away. The wood and the high rooms create a good coziness. Everything you need is there, although the refrigerator is a bit small if you don't want to eat out every day. The sauna is great for relaxation after a wonderful hike or bike ride through the mostly very well-marked "dream paths." The forest house is absolutely quiet, it's incredible. Wonderful for slowing down.
In the village, one can recommend a baker and a butcher as well as the small blacksmith shop.
By car, one can quickly reach places for shopping or shopping.
We can only highly recommend the forest house, all the people were super nice, even to the dog, and there are many dogs around.
At our time, it was not a tourist hotspot.

Perfect house for hiking with a dog

We had 3 wonderful weeks in this enchanting wooden house. The high ceilings and beautiful furnishings make it a truly special experience. Our dog was warmly welcomed and could freely enjoy the fenced garden. The sauna is lovely; fortunately, we had very sunny weather, so it was used little. The house is located at the very top of a small holiday park, where you hardly notice the hustle and bustle at the lake; in the garden, you are completely on your own and it is not visible, very pleasant. Two nice restaurants by the lake are within walking distance, which we enjoyed using. The surrounding "Traumpfade" are highly recommended for hiking! We were very kindly welcomed and bid farewell by the Krupica family; they were always reachable and very helpful. Thank you for everything! We will definitely come again.

Relaxing vacation in a dreamy setting – also for dogs!

We spent a wonderful break in this great holiday home in the Eifel – together with our two dogs. Right upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. Very friendly, helpful, and absolutely dog-friendly!

The house is lovingly furnished, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. We were particularly excited about the large, completely fenced garden – a true paradise for our dogs and perfect for relaxing.

The surroundings are wonderfully quiet and ideal for unwinding. Whether it's long walks, cozy hours in the house, or simply enjoying the peace – we felt completely comfortable.

Absolutely successful vacation. We would be very happy to come back and can only recommend this holiday home!

Beautiful forest house in a quiet location

We had four relaxing days with our dog in this woodland house. The house is cozily furnished, very clean, and quietly situated. The log sauna is an absolute highlight. There are many hiking trails nearby. Two restaurants can also be reached in just 5 minutes on foot. The landlord welcomed us very kindly, and we felt completely comfortable. We will definitely come back!

The Forest House

For us, my partner, our 3 dogs, and I, it was a wonderful vacation. The house was very beautiful and well-furnished; nothing was missing. Unfortunately, the weather during the week was not very nice, but it was mostly dry, and the evening walks to the beautiful barrel sauna were definitely worth it. Overall, it was a great and relaxing vacation. Many thanks to the Krupica family; we will definitely come back.

Wellness Oasis 1+

The forest house is very beautifully located above the forest lake. We were there over Christmas and New Year's and could relax very well. After nice hikes, we relaxed in the great sauna. The equipment is perfect, nothing was missing. You can cook for yourself or eat directly by the lake. Both locations are highly recommended. We and our dog enjoyed the time very much and will come back.

The Forest House

The forest house is beautifully located at the edge of the forest. We had total peace and quiet. The barrel sauna in the garden is super nice and very well-maintained. The house consistently had a pleasant room temperature. A very cozy house. In the kitchen, we found the lighting a bit insufficient. Beautiful simple decor in the house. Great house in a great location

We really enjoyed our time in the cozy forest house and had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing vacation: the nicely furnished house with plenty of space and great amenities, the beautiful and quiet garden with a distant view, completely sheltered from neighbors for relaxation and perfect for our dog, and a location with lovely excursion destinations nearby: Rhine, Moselle, Ahr, and plenty of great hiking trails.
We felt very comfortable and had a wonderful time. Clear recommendation for a vacation at the Forest House, especially if a dog is part of the family.

Flawless holiday cottage

We were in Rieden at the holiday village by the forest lake for a week. The location of the cabin is very convenient with only one neighbor. The amenities have everything you need. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating. We all found it very nice there.

Summer vacation at the lake

A wonderful and cozy holiday home, located in a quiet green area with a short path to the lake for swimming. Beautiful small garden with sauna, nice view, and shielded from curious eyes.
On nice days, you are right by/in the water (non-swimmers remember to bring floaties, entry only via ladder at the dock!) and bad days can be comfortably spent in the sauna.
The location is a great starting point for excursions, such as the Nürburgring, Eltz Castle, Moselle - max. 1 hour. Travel time and of course for many small and large hikes.
The host personally welcomed us and provided us with information. There is also a well-filled house folder.
We felt very comfortable and rested well and are happy to recommend the Waldhaus. ? ?

Wellness vacation

The holiday home is very quiet at the end of a street with a beautiful, wide view of the Eifel. The house is spacious and tastefully and comfortably furnished with lots of wood. Everything you need is available. The garden is well fenced and lush. Our dog enjoyed lying in the grass. We did not use the sauna in the garden, but it looks very nice. Everything is clean and tidy. Very nice landlords, we enjoyed the sparkling wine that was provided. Thank you for that.

Wonderful time out with dog

We had a wonderful time in January, just the two of us with our dog Max, and were able to enjoy the cozy forest house... You feel at home from the beginning, and we especially loved the wooden sauna with its magnificent view. But we also explored the forest lake and the small hiking trails around it with enthusiasm. A car is definitely needed... and one should know that the path from the forest lake to the house goes uphill a bit.

In a difficult time for us, we were able to recharge a lot of strength and energy. It was really great and we would love to come back!

Break over Christmas and New Year's Eve

We had very beautiful, relaxed, restful, and stress-free days at the forest house. Although the house is located in a holiday village, it was very quiet. Very nicely furnished and decorated. Advent vacation in the forest house in the Eifel

We stayed at the Waldhaus for 12 days and felt very comfortable. The landlady, Mrs. Krupica, is very nice and the key handover on arrival and departure was very uncomplicated. On arrival, there were treats for our dog on the table. We love such small gestures. The garden is completely fenced so that the dog cannot escape. The Waldhaus is located at the end of a street and therefore very quiet. When we were there, there was not much going on in the holiday village, but we were also looking for peace and quiet. The icing on the cake is the barrel sauna in the garden. The equipment is completely sufficient, we didn't miss anything and the house is very spacious. We will come back.

Break in the Eifel

We were allowed to spend a relaxing week in the "Waldhaus" at the beginning of December and felt very comfortable. The well-kept wooden house, which is open at the top, created a cozy atmosphere and you could comfortably snuggle up after walks. Since it was already quite cold outside, the sauna contributed to our well-being. Even our two furry friends had no complaints and felt right at home. The friendly landlords were always available and happy to help.

There is still a lot to explore in the surrounding area and we will be happy to come back.

Come in and feel good.

We wanted to spend a few days with our dog and relax, the forest house was just the right thing! You come in and immediately feel comfortable! Beautiful wooden house, beautifully furnished, the decorations are harmonious and lovingly done, I felt at home right away. We didn't miss anything, the kitchen was well equipped! There were even 2 coffee machines, one for pads, one for filter coffee, which was great for us as coffee addicts, but a tea after the sauna was also very pleasant. The location is also very nice, directly for walking towards the Eifel dream paths or down to the forest lake. Everything was super clean and well equipped. Very nice landlords, who are also available for questions! We will gladly come back!! A holiday cottage for families with dogs, or romantic as a couple, or with children!

We would have a very warm welcome from the landlords. It is very nice there and the sauna is amazing. From here you can go on beautiful hikes. We can 100% recommend the restaurant by the lake (not the pizzeria), it is super delicious. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. We can definitely recommend the accommodation.

We were greeted very nicely and all the features of the house were explained to us, plus there were some hiking tips on top. So far we have been lucky with the weather, not so warm but dry, except for today, but that's nature and we want to enjoy nature with our pelt-nose and relax. Only with the rain - you can't sit outside, here it might be an idea to put up a canopy or a rain roof. Also for people who are not so good on foot, the great accommodation is not suitable because it is on the mountain and without a car it is very difficult to get up here. Time out at the forest lake with beautiful sauna

As a small family with a nearly 3-year-old daughter and a dog, we had a wonderful week with all kinds of weather. Since the forest house had everything we needed (sauna with a panoramic view, kitchen, internet TV) and a variety of activities in the area (hiking, cycling, playgrounds, swimming pool in Mayen), we can only recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

Beautiful accommodation

We were two couples and a dog staying at the Forest House for the weekend, and we fell in love with it right away!
The hosts were incredibly friendly, easygoing, and attentive. They welcomed and bid us farewell at the house, and everything went very smoothly and personally.
The accommodation is not only beautifully and lovingly furnished and equipped, but it also impresses with its cozy wooden house charm. Everything was very well-maintained and clean, not to mention the beautiful sauna in the garden.
The location is also incredibly quiet and offers the perfect place for cozy days and long walks.
Especially for dog owners, it is an absolute recommendation (dog bed and snacks were ready).
All in all, truly a charming accommodation and friendly hosts, we would love to come back and recommend it further.

Feel at home in the forest house.

We were two with our dog Max for 10 days in the forest house and felt comfortable from the very first moment. Great for switching off

We had a super nice time in the Waldhaus. We didn't miss anything in the equipment and what should be especially emphasised was the great hospitality towards our dog. We felt very comfortable in the house and the sauna was also very good when it rained :-). Apart from that, the location of the house is also very recommendable. The beautiful lake and hiking trails are right outside the door. But you can also quickly get to the volcano region or the wine region, so you could do a lot of different things. We would love to come back.

Alpenflair in the Eifel

High-quality and lovingly furnished holiday home with plenty of space for the whole family. The forest house is beautifully decorated, has a great garden, and the panoramic window in the log sauna offers an incredible view over the Eifel. The booking was very pleasant and straightforward.
