Everything top - as in the photos

The villa is really very beautiful and spacious - also outside (terrace + roof terrace!, pool, sunbathing lawn). The only thing we would have liked was a second fridge. We were 8 adults (+ children), so it was a bit tight with food and drinks in one fridge. Otherwise a great house in a quiet little village and a very helpful host! I would book again anytime :-)

Generous garden

Very charming house with a spacious garden, additional barbecue area, and sea view from the terrace. The pool is wonderfully large, and there are good shaded and sunny spots around the pool and house, very comfortable loungers. The kitchen is well-equipped and offers space for cooking. Even on bad weather days, you can make yourself really cozy in the living area. The landlord couple warmly welcomed us! Truly worth the trip!

What do you need to experience in Peroj?

Sandy beach and dolphins

Have you found a holiday home or apartment on the south coast of Istria from a private owner in Peroj, Croatia? Then you are in the immediate vicinity of the natural beach of Peroj. Enjoy the peace and sea view or plunge into sporting adventures on and in the water. In the center of Peroj, a visit to the Orthodox Church of St. Spiridon is worthwhile. Here you will find a collection of icons and historical tombs, some of which date back to the Copper Age. For excursions, in addition to the historical city, Poreč, Vrsar, Rovinj, or Trieste are recommended. Experience pure medieval flair in Motovun or Oprtalj, among others. A highlight is the Brioni Islands off the coast near Pula and Fažana - a nature park with impressive landscapes. The nearby islands of Lošinj or Cres are also worth a visit. A particularly beautiful view can be enjoyed from Učka-Monte Maggiore. From the pass, you can overlook all of Istria or the Kvarner Bay. We recommend an excursion to the Limski Canal, a ten-kilometer-long sea arm between Rovinj and Vrsar. With a little luck, you can spot dolphins here. Numerous sights and experiences in Peroj and the surrounding area are waiting for you! There is also plenty to do for children and families. Take a boat trip around the island of Brijuni or the island of Murter or to the national park there, or go for walks or strolls through Fažana or Medulin. The places Hvar, Losinj, Brac, or Krk are also worth a visit. Culturally enthusiastic visitors can discover enchanting architectural monuments from the past millennia and the region's history on excursions. Book a holiday accommodation with Wi-Fi or a holiday home or apartment on the Adriatic coast now and spend unforgettable holidays on the south coast in the region.

Where can I eat out in Peroj?

Influences from other countries

Enjoy the advantages of a holiday with a holiday home or apartment in Peroj in Istria! The proximity to the sea, the weather, the cultural highlights, and the culinary delights attract numerous visitors every year. In the guesthouses of the Istrian peninsula, fresh water from the tap is always a free service. Typical regional specialties are risotto, pršut, or maneštra. In Croatia, a spicy herb mixture of garlic, bay leaves, and parsley is often used. Small anchovies marinated in a sauce of onions and wine are considered a delicacy. The white fish are considered particularly noble: sea bream, sole, sea bass, and gilt-head bream. You can find inexpensive alternatives at the numerous snack bars, where you can find burek (pastry filled with meat, sheep's cheese, and herbs) or Pljeskavica rolls (a kind of hamburger). You can also get risottos, pizzas, or pasta in Peroj and Istria, as the Italian influence is undeniable. Austria's rule has also left its mark with beef, game, or poultry dishes. Wild asparagus is considered a delicacy in early summer. Istria in Croatia is also a wine country. Typical are the red Teran and the white Malvazija. Merlot, Pinot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Muškat are also grown in Istria or Croatia. A holiday in Peroj can also become a culinary highlight!

How do I come to Peroj?

By road or by air

Have you always wanted to go on holiday to Croatia? Rent a holiday apartment or a holiday home on the Istrian peninsula on the Adriatic coast? We recommend a fantastic beach holiday in Peroj! This small village with only about 600 inhabitants is located about eight kilometers from Pula. The larger fishing village of Fažana is nearby. In Peroj, the coast and sea view are omnipresent. The place is considered quiet, with a relaxing atmosphere. To get to your holiday and accommodation, it is best to take the highway from Trieste via Capodistria-Koper and then the expressway towards Pula. Buses also run from Trieste train station to many cities in Istria, Croatia. Traveling by train from Trieste to Peroj is not recommended, as changing trains in Divaca and waiting at the border would take a lot of time. Ferries operate from Ancona and Venice. The nearest airport is in Pula, where charter flights from Frankfurt, among others, land. Book a holiday accommodation with Wi-Fi or a holiday home or apartment now and enjoy unforgettable holidays on the Adriatic coast.
