For the price, quite alright.

At the end of May, we stayed at Villa Nora for the second time. The house is located relatively quietly, about 20km from Rovinj. It doesn't have a high-end interior, but the house is still quite new and for 630 euros/week at the end of May, it was fine. Unfortunately, the price for the same time period in 2023 has skyrocketed to 990 euros/week. Therefore, I booked a villa in Jopi for 880 euros in the same time period. The house and garden are larger and the interior is clearly of higher quality. In conclusion, for 630 euros, some sacrifices can be made, but for 990 euros, there are definitely higher-end villas available.

Especially popular is the white truffle, the most expensive truffle in the world, which is grated over meat and pasta dishes from September.

How do I come to Bale?

The charming town of Bale is located in the southwest of the Istrian peninsula. The beach is about six kilometers from your vacation rental or private holiday home. In addition to the main town, the municipality includes the districts of Golaš and Krmed, as well as an approximately eight-kilometer-long coastal strip. From Munich, you can reach your accommodation in six hours, and from Salzburg in four hours. Traveling by plane is faster, with a choice of airports in Pula and Rijeka in Croatia and Trieste in Italy. If you arrive by plane, you can rent a car on site to explore the peninsula. Otherwise, there is a good bus connection between the cities.
