The Cliffs Resort is located on 100,000 sq meters of lush tropical grounds. Along the northern edge is the Blue Pacific Ocean -- 50 meters below. Birds fly straight to your lanai [balcony] and flowers and nature are everywhere. The property has tennis courts, swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, barbecue, arts and crafts, and golf putting practice. The Cliffs is one of the few resorts to have high speed internet available wirelessly in the lobby.

Princeville is a modern resort community perched on a bluff 50 meters above the pacific ocean. While the area boasts over 1000 condo apartments, fewer than 200 have an ocean view. The area was developed in the 1970's and remains in first class condition. The Princeville Resort is anchored by the world renown 5 star Princeville Hotel. The area is home to 45 holes of championship golf. While most of the Princeville seacoast is lava rock, there are some lovely beaches. There is a small shopping district. 5 km to the west is the famous town of Hanalei. It has a quaint village atmosphere, tourist oriented shopping, many activities, a wide variety of dining, and many fine beaches.
