There is currently no cage (insect screen) around the pool and terrace. We are trying to rebuild it as soon as possible (expected June 2023).
Villa Blue Lagoon is furnished in a modern European style with contemporary art. The bright light-flooded rooms create a special feel-good atmosphere.

Take a deep breath and experience film-ready sunrises on the spacious, east/southeast-facing terrace. Overlooking the expansive canal crossing and pool, early risers are greeted with breathtaking colours over the water and palm tops rustling in the wind.
Comfortable sun loungers as well as a cosy lounge invite you to unwind and enjoy the sun on this wonderful spot until late in the afternoon. With a last glass after a sociable barbecue evening, you can let the day end in a relaxed way.
Dive into the heated pool, which is operated with a saltwater technology that is gentle on the skin and hair. The pool has LED lighting that you can set in different colours depending on your mood. Numerous pool toys are available.
The open-plan, fully equipped and very well-equipped kitchen-living room meets the most modern demands. With a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, you can conjure up the perfect coffee for sunrise. Bring your favourite capsules from home!
Powerful WLAN and German-language as well as international TV programmes are freely available via the Internet TV. Apple TV and a DVD player are also available.
Villa Blue Lagoon has four tastefully furnished bedrooms (two of them with TV) with eight sleeping possibilities. It is therefore also suitable for larger families or groups of friends. The master bedroom and the first guest room offer direct pool access and stunning water views. The house has two bathrooms with shower/WC.
Two kayaks with life jackets are available for exploring the extensive surroundings. The use of these is free of charge and at your own risk.
If you want to maintain or improve your training status during your holidays, fitness enthusiasts can use the in-house Garage Gym for a short workout in between. This has various ergometers (Concept2 Rower, Concept2 Bike, Air Bike), a pull-up rig, yoga mat and a medicine ball, for a nice full-body workout. A spacious outdoor swimming pool is within easy reach by car.
Villa Blue Lagoon also has a boat mooring for a motorboat, which you can hire as an option. Discover the offshore islands of Sanibel and Captiva or the beach of Fort Myers with a unique day trip.
You are not far from some hotspots. The beautiful Cape Harbour with many restaurants and cafés is less than five minutes by car from your holiday residence. Good shopping facilities and other popular restaurants are also very easy to reach.
A friendly German-speaking house management is at your disposal at any time. The house is a non-smoking house, out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets are not allowed. We ask for your understanding.
In addition to the good house equipment, you will also find beach chairs, cool box and beach utensils for your excursions in the garage.
Boat rental is recommended!!! No boat licence is required in Florida and the boat you rent from us is moored directly at your own boat dock to access the beaches around Sanibel and Captiva! Dolphins are guaranteed. You will find the boats to choose from directly under the location map after the description. When booking, you can then directly select the boat of your choice.
Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets are not allowed. Smoking is also only permitted in the outdoor area.

Wow - I wish I could move in forever!
This was the classic Florida house of my dreams. Beautiful water view, pool, spacious, quiet, safe, and well equipped! The house comes with a ton of amenities, like glass grill, pool towels, beaches chairs and more! We "worked from home" during the week so we appreciated the strong wifi. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time at the Blue Lagoon Villa
Blue Lagoon Villa is really wonderful. Communication with host was clear, fast and reliable. Its perfect for a family get together as it has space and the house is very comfy. House has everything for you to sit down and relax, kitchen is equipped, grill is outside and works perfectly and the pool area is the best! You can sit in the Lanai for hours and watch the canal, sunrises, sunsets, etc. Its very peaceful. Location is great too, 2 mins away from Publix, Gas stations, restaurants, pharmacies, etc, so pretty close to everything you may need. The house has everything you need to cook, relax, read, pool, kayaks, etc. You can drive to the beaches (Ft Myers, Bonita, Sanibel, Captiva, etc) so you have a lot of options to choose. Its a perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend.

Bester Ausblick
Wir durften über den 4.Juli in der Villa Blue Lagoon verweilen. Es war sooo gemütlich vom Pooldeck aus das Feuerwerk über dem Wasser zu sehen! Und am Tag unserer Abreise schwammen noch zwei Manatees direkt vorbei! Unsere Familie fühlte sich sehr wohl! Das Haus ist hell und modern , sehr stilvoll eingerichtet-nichts fehlt! Wer morgens gern bei einem Cappuccino den Sonnenaufgang genießt, hat hier einen schönen Platz gefunden.

Villa Blue Lagoon
Great rental experience. The property is well-maintained. The operator is experienced. Everything in the house is in good shape. However if you are renting a boat it takes about 40 minutes to get out of the canal.
