Thumbs up ??

Thumbs up.
We felt welcome and comfortable from the first minute, the little house is lovingly furnished, very cozy and quiet, everything you need is there. Our dog - Piet got along well with the Bernese Mountain Dog female of the landlord (Barbara).
From here, you can start many excursions, whether on foot or by car, bus and train are also possible.
Barbara is happy to help with questions or advice. We hope that we can come back next year to discover and admire even more.

Thank you for the beautiful days.

Sensational location

Facilities: everything you need, everything very clean! Naturally kept, there may also "insect-friendly" plants grow

Reception was uncomplicated with key code and communication was very good. There was enough space for 12 people. Bedrooms are not huge but perfectly adequate.
The location is sensational
Gladly again

Hervorragende Unterkunft

We (8 people) stayed at the holiday home in Oberland 2 for 4 days. It was a completely successful experience. The house is beautiful, well-equipped, and very clean. The kitchen is excellent, the bathrooms have rainforest showers, and the rooms are inviting and beautiful. Mrs. Förtsch was always available, responded to all our inquiries and needs, and was always friendly and cheerful. We will definitely come back next year!

Which sights are there in Bad Tölz?

Discover Beautiful Sights in Bad Tölz

The town of Bad Tölz impresses with a well-maintained historic old town, where many interesting buildings are located. Particularly beautiful is the Marktstraße with its Baroque and late medieval houses of the Tölz merchants and patricians. Visit the Khanturm from 1353, the Old Town Hall, the Sporerhaus, or the Marienstift. The facades of the houses are partly richly decorated and adorned with so-called Lüftlmalerei. At the end of the street stands the monument erected in 1887 for Kaspar Winzerer III, known as the "Golden Knight." The parish church Mariä Himmelfahrt is one of the oldest buildings. Other sacred buildings such as the Holy Cross Church, the Holy Stairs, and the Leonhardikapelle should also be visited during your tour and a hike to the Calvary Mountain. The Leonhardikapelle was built in 1718 in memory of the peasant uprising of 1705. A bridge with a very old tradition, which was made of wood for several centuries but is now made of modern materials, crosses the Isar. In the bathing part of the town, there are spa facilities, a promenade hall, and the Kurhaus.

Highlights for Your Bad Tölz Vacation

Almost everyone knows the popular TV series "Der Bulle von Tölz." It is filmed in Bad Tölz, and during a vacation in the town, you can leisurely view the original locations. Enjoy Culinary Specialties

From your holiday home or apartment, start your excursions to beautiful destinations in the area and combine this with a hearty feast in one of the huts or in the restaurants of Bavarian innkeepers. There, enjoy the hearty soups, which get their typical regional flavor from forest mushrooms from the Tegernsee area, vegetables, or semolina dumplings. In addition to traditional dishes, milk lamb, young beef roast, or game from special breeding enclosures are increasingly offered. Almost every house serves sharp horseradish with boiled beef, locally known as Kren. The ducal breeding in Wildbad Kreuth supplies first-class trout and char, which are served fried, steamed, or smoked. For dessert, apple fritters or pear compote are popular. Alongside, drink beer from small private breweries or a glass of aromatic wine. If you wish, you can also cook in the holiday home or apartment privately. It's economical and you are independent of the opening hours of the restaurants.
