Description

The sun-drenched Eckerl is a charming annex with separate entrance, quietly located and offers everything you could wish for on your holiday and self-catering on a comfortable 50 m2.
In the entrance area you will find the spacious cloakroom. From here you enter the cosy living room/kitchen where you can enjoy sitting at the dining table with the matching, rustic corner bench.
The kitchen is fully equipped and should you still miss something, the landlady Helga will be happy to provide it
Adjacent to the living room is the lovingly designed living room with a multi-functional couch which can be used as a seat, a double bed or two single beds
Comfort is guaranteed in any position
In the separate bedroom, there is a high-quality box spring bed (double bed) in an alcove.
The bathroom has a shower with shower cubicle, toilet, washbasin, shelf and linen/towel rack.
Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price.
You would have to bring your own large bath towels for the swimming pool or lake.

Another highlight: If you stay longer than one week, you get a free Weißwurstessen!

It is located in the metropolitan region of Munich, only about an hour away from the state capital by car or train
At the same time, however, it is only a few minutes to the tourist hotspots such as Schliersee, Spitzingsee and Tegernsee which offer a huge range of leisure activities of all kinds.

Nice little house, super nice landlord :-)

After a nice welcome from Ms. Lechner, we had two relaxing weeks in the well-equipped Sonneneckerl. Hausham is well-equipped with shops for daily needs that can be reached on foot, and it is a good starting point for excursions in the area. There is a train station in Hausham, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The Schliersee can be reached in about 35 minutes on foot via a beautiful path. From this path, you can also branch off to the Huberalm, which you should definitely visit. In about 20 minutes by car, you can reach Spitzingsee, from where you can take great hikes. It is also worth visiting the Markus Wasmaier Open-Air Museum in Schliersee. Chiemsee, Tegernsee, Bad Tölz, and Rosenheim are also worth a visit. In the 2nd week, there was a delicious white sausage breakfast with all the trimmings from Ms. Lechner. We really enjoyed our time there and can recommend the accommodation.

Unfortunately, there are not more than five stars to award here. The small house was perfect for us, one adult, and two boys. Everything needed was there. Enough space for cooking, sleeping, playing - and for comfortably sitting outside, very nice landlord. The children felt very happy - (that was also due to the good Wi-Fi connection). Hausham is not a tourism magnet, but it is neither overcrowded nor overloaded. Friendly people everywhere, many shops, you can get everything. You can walk to Schliersee in a few minutes, and to Tegernsee as well - not in a few minutes, but on a beautiful hike over Gindelalm. Then there's Spitzingsee and plenty of hiking mountains behind it. You can quickly reach the lake by car, bus, or train. Hausham has a train station. 50 min train ride to Munich. Something for rainy days. But we only had sunshine. Hopefully, we will have the same next time.

Super vacation, gladly again.

We had a wonderful time at Sonneneckerl with three of us (2 teenagers + 1 adult).
The accommodation is quiet, everything you need is there, we slept great and felt very comfortable.
Mrs. Lechner is a great host who is happy to help with everything. Thank you!
When the weather is nice, you can have breakfast outside, pure vacation for me! Great location, you can quickly get to Schliersee and Spitzingsee (by car or bus/train, starting point for numerous mountain hikes and both lakes are great for swimming). Supermarket and bakery within walking distance and a very delicious ice cream shop on the way to the train station. Tip for a rainy day: climbing/bouldering gym in Weyarn; also, Hausham even has a cinema!
If we come back to the area, we will definitely come again!

It's a pleasure to come here

My son and I liked it very much with Mrs. Lechner and we felt welcome right away. She is a very nice and caring hostess.
The flat is super equipped. If you still need something, Mrs. Lechner brings it right over.
Even spontaneous changes, e.g. an extra bed, are no problem.
The location is also ideal. It's about an 8-minute walk to the train station, and discounters are just a stone's throw away.

We would like to come back here again and thank you very much for your warm hospitality, Mrs Lechner!

Simply beautiful!

The landlady is very nice and helpful. Everything you need to buy is within walking distance, the train station as well. The flat is nicely and practically furnished. We have never been welcomed so nicely with fruit etc. The location is very quiet.
The location is very quiet and it is really a sunny spot in the morning and also in the evening. The surrounding area invites you to hike, cycle, swim, eat out and enjoy culture. Simply a beautiful spot on earth. Simply ingenious for two people! Highly recommended.

Holiday region Upper Bavaria

We were looking for a centrally located, quiet, self-catering holiday flat with a good price-performance ratio for our exploratory trip through Upper Bavaria. We chose the "Sonneneckerl" and were not disappointed. A very cordial, uncomplicated and helpful landlady gave the name "Sonneneckel" another meaningful reference, because of course it means the nice, cosy sitting area at the house. Schliersee is only a stone's throw away, but Tegernsee, Starnberger See and Staffelsee with their romantic little towns and wonderful nature are also within easy reach and were among our excursion destinations. From the nearby train station, the regional train runs every hour to Munich. All in all, we spent an eventful and relaxing week and can only recommend this accommodation.

Very nice holiday apartment with a great hostess.

My two friends and I spent a very nice week at Mrs. Lechner's and can only recommend the vacation rental. The hostess is very warm, always helpful, and has contributed a great deal to us feeling very comfortable.

The vacation rental is chic, clean, and in a good location near Lake Schliersee. It offers everything you need on vacation. The only thing is that the Wi-Fi connection was sometimes a bit unstable, and the box bed is very good for a couple, but potentially a bit small for two people. However, this was not a problem for us, as there were three of us and two people can easily sleep on the expandable couch in the living room. The price-performance ratio for the vacation rental is outstanding.

All in all, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back if we are in the region again.

Herrliche Tage

We were two in this beautiful and cozy vacation rental. The weather was great and we did a lot of activities. A special tip is the Tegernsee brewery! The apartment is nice and spacious, clean, and located in a very quiet area. The landlady is very welcoming and gave us good tips for our outings. In the morning, I always went to the bakery around the corner to get pretzels and rolls. Since we haven't seen everything yet in this beautiful area, we will definitely come back to Sonneneckerl.
