The Kolibri holiday home offers space for max. 6 people and a baby. With its modernised and comfortable furnishings, it invites you to feel at home and is the ideal prerequisite for your unforgettable holiday in the Dornum region. The spacious living-dining area with its comfortable sofa and TV set invites you to relax and enjoy dinner after a sunny day at the beach. The modern and well-equipped kitchen-dining area tempts you to cook together. At the spacious dining table, you can both prepare and feast to your heart's content in convivial company. The spacious and floor-level shower in the cosy bathroom with chic tiles refreshes after a sunbath. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a WC. The new furniture made of oak real wood with its natural look creates a cosy room climate. The new and comfortable double beds are perfect for restful sleep and dreaming. The specially selected mattresses in different firmness levels also contribute to this. The desk of the first bedroom serves as a retreat where writing postcards or e-mails is possible via the house WLAN. The toilet is designed in the same style as the bathroom. Through the second bedroom, a staircase leads up to the newly converted and cosy attic room. Both young and old will feel at home there. For the younger guests, the attic offers a retreat with TV. In fine weather, the day or evening can be enjoyed on the terrace.
So that you are not bothered by flies, wasps, mosquitoes or other insects on summer nights, each of our windows (as well as the terrace door) is equipped with an insect screen (fly screen). So you can enjoy the summer nights undisturbed with the window open.
Everyday things are also taken care of in Haus Kolibri: the dishwasher, the washing machine with dryer, the hoover and the iron with ironing board are the little helpers that make an individual holiday and stay with us possible, even over a longer period of time.

Location and surroundings of object
Neßmersiel belongs to the district of Dornum and is a quiet, idyllic coastal seaside resort located directly on the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea. Directly from the holiday home, you can take great paths along endless dikes and wide fields to various worthwhile destinations along the East Frisian coast. It is only about 1.5 km from Haus Kolibri to the harbour and the beach. In the nearby leisure and wellness centre "Sturmfrei" with its large indoor play hall, children and teenagers have a lot of fun even on rainy days.

Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 60 days before the arrival date.
In the event of cancellation by the tenant, a cancellation fee is due. This amounts to 25% of the total rental price up to 30 days and 60% of the total rental price up to 10 days before the start of the rental period. Thereafter, and in the event of no-show, 90% of the total rental price (excluding final cleaning) will be charged.

here are some tips for things to do during your holiday in Neßmersiel and the surrounding area:
- Museum railway in Norden - Lütetsburg Castle - Greetsiel is very beautiful, there you can visit the Pilsum lighthouse, among other things - The islands of Norderney and Baltrum can be visited with the nearby ferries. The ferry to Baltrum leaves directly from the harbour in Neßmersiel
- Automobile and Toy Museum - In Norddeich you will also find, among other things, the seal station, a swimming pool, a Norddeich adventure park (adventure golf, maze, fairytale ship) and a tea museum (Norden).
- In Jaderberg is the Jaderpark animal and leisure park. You have to plan an hour's drive here, however. But it is worth it.
The visitor's tax, which you can get from our house manager on site, includes the Nordsee-Service Card.

Cozy house for a relaxing vacation
We (2 people) spent two wonderful weeks in the Kolibri 2 house. The house has everything you need, from the Senseo coffee machine to the tumble dryer, and is comfortably furnished, very clean, and the beds have good mattresses. There was nothing missing. Nearby attractions are easily accessible, you can ride your bike or go for a walk on the dike. Oh, and we really enjoyed the small garden with the terrace. We will gladly come again.

Holiday at the North Sea.
We spent 1 week on vacation with our grandchild at the Kolibri house and felt right at home there. The house offers everything you need and is located in the middle of a holiday home settlement. An Edeka supermarket is within walking distance. There are nice playgrounds for children and you can start many activities from there, such as cycling tours. The dike is very close by where you can cycle along for a long distance. The harbor and beach can also be reached quickly, best by bike. It was an all-round successful vacation with lots of nature and a very nice accommodation.

Nice holiday apartment with minor flaws
We stayed in this spacious and well-equipped apartment for 1 week in May. There is plenty of space for 2 people, only 1 locked room for bicycles is missing. However, in all bedrooms, the beds are so close to the slanted walls that you can touch the wall with your head and hit your head. The toilet on the first floor is installed sideways in the room. Since the room is very tight, you can hardly sit straight and comfortably on the toilet. The parking spaces are laid out too tight for today's standards (SUV, etc.). Not all tenants park so straight that there is enough space for all cars.

Well located but small and noisy
The holiday home Kolibri is well-equipped and offers a lot with a kettle, coffee machine, etc. We liked that very much. Unfortunately, it is clearly too small for the specified number of people, 6 adults + a toddler. Two beds are placed so close under the sloping roof that you can hardly turn. Many pieces of furniture and accessories are firmly screwed in place. Furthermore, the apartment is so soundproof that you can hear people talking in the living room from the attic, and children have trouble sleeping. It was a nice vacation, but the apartment was rather tiring.

Great, would love to do it again!
The Kolibri House is very clean and well-maintained. It is very well equipped. The communication with the local manager is also excellent. We can recommend the Kolibri House 100% and will certainly come back again.
