Super apartment

We were four (2 adults and 2 children) and felt very comfortable right away. The apartment has everything you need, is clean, well-equipped, and the Brinker family is super nice. We made many trips to the North Sea, it's only about an hour away. Shopping was also no problem. We would love to come back.

We were two with a dog. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather, but otherwise, we felt very comfortable.
Some grass by the terrace would have pleased our Lab, but that's no reason for one star less...

Guests in July 2020 as a couple with a child and a dog for a relaxing holiday:
We spent our summer vacation in the beautiful Rheiderland with two children and our dog.
Directly behind the dike is a large property with plenty of space for young and old.
Surrounded by lots of greenery and various animals, we immediately felt at home.
Catharina and Hilmar were the best hosts you could wish for.
The holiday apartment and the construction trailer are very cozy and functional.
We were very happy about the little extras for welcoming us, the delicious smoothies, and the bread delivery service.
We were even able to go pony riding in the neighborhood and take a small harbor tour in Weener.
There were no wishes left unfulfilled.
The creative environment in and in front of the barn, as well as the good conversations with Hilmar and Catharina, were very pleasant and inspiring.
We would love to come back.

The Epochs Come to Life

The historic old town of Leer is one of the most popular attractions in East Frisia. Here, there are 365 buildings under monument protection. The town hall of Leer, reminiscent of the Dutch Renaissance, was built in 1894. It forms an impressive ensemble with the Historical Weigh House (Dutch High Baroque). The district court from 1720 is also in Baroque style. It is a former palace. Many of the downtown houses are attributed to Classicism or Historicism. Particularly noteworthy is the Clasen's House, built in 1806. A trio of buildings on Brunnenstraße includes the headquarters of the Bünting company. Many of the centrally located holiday apartments and houses also reflect the styles of past epochs. Other significant buildings include the Leda Barrage and the water tower. The Jann Berghaus Bridge is one of the largest folding bridges in Europe. Additionally, there are four castles. The Harderwykenburg dates back to the first half of the 15th century. Rowers and Runners Attract the Crowds
