Charming and cozy holiday home in a wonderfully quiet location!

in a beautiful, authentic, and very cozy furnished holiday home with plenty of space to feel comfortable. The house impresses with its special charm, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and tastefully designed bathrooms.

The surroundings are pleasantly quiet and friendly – ideal for leaving everyday life behind and enjoying a relaxing holiday. The great location is particularly practical: A bakery and a supermarket are located just around the corner and are easily reachable on foot.

The communication was also excellent, uncomplicated, and very pleasant.

We felt completely at ease and can definitely recommend this charming holiday home!

Best regards,
Liesbeth

Which sights are there in East Frisia?

Watt, Watt, and What Else?

The far north of East Frisia is full of life and awaits with numerous attractions of the North Sea. Hike during a mudflat walk in the Wadden Sea Biosphere Reserve National Park, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Indeed, the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea is a unique, protected landscape with heart clams and lugworms. Here, more than 250 species find a vital habitat. If you are in Wilhelmshaven, be sure to visit the National Park Center "The Wadden Sea House". The interactive visitor center offers unforgettable experiences and explains the history of the region very well. In the evening, enjoy the cozy warmth in your holiday apartment or holiday home in Juist, Baltrum, Wangerooge, or Langeoog. Holidays on the North Sea couldn't be more beautiful! From the museum, a relaxing walk at Norddeich is recommended. Attention, leisure captains, board the German Naval Museum! During a North Sea vacation, "little boys' dreams" come true. In the outdoor area, exhibits such as a mine-hunting boat, a submarine, the fast boat S71 GEPARD, as well as a former destroyer and others from the water fleet can be viewed. Also, don't miss the special exhibition or a permanent exhibition about German naval history. The city Aurich is comfortably reachable from the holiday home. There is always something worth seeing from the holiday apartment. Wilhelmshaven, with its Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge, the landmark par excellence, impresses with houses from the founding period. If your residence on the North Sea is cozy, it has something to do with the history of East Frisia. Whether you choose an apartment in southern East Frisia or in the north: the main thing is that you enjoy your vacation to the fullest. One of the most impressive architectural monuments in northwestern Germany is Jever Castle. The former fortress from the 14th century was the ruler's seat of Jeverland. The castle underwent many modifications and today presents itself mainly in the neoclassical architectural style. If you wander around attentively, you will discover the old castle construction at some places. The beautiful landscape of the green inland with the windmills offers many excursion destinations for varied holidays-

What do you need to experience in East Frisia?

See East Frisia, and Come Back Soon

On the East Frisian coast and its surroundings, it's easy to unwind and relax. You will return home reluctantly and fondly remember your holiday home or places like Aurich or Emden. The importance of a dike is evident at the EMS barrier. This serves to improve coastal protection and diverts the eponymous river so that large cruise ships from the Meyer Shipyard can be transferred. More information about vacationing in East Frisia makes you want to quietly book a holiday with a pool and enjoy your perfect holiday accommodation. Simply book a comfortably furnished accommodation, a villa, or an apartment, for example in Neßmersiel or in Pilsum, and spend unforgettable vacation days full of relaxation between the inland, sandy beaches, North Sea coast, and beach chairs.

What can you experience in East Frisia with children?

East Frisia for Family-Friendly Vacation in a Quiet Location

The 1000 square meter Leeraner Miniaturland is a great excursion destination for the whole family. At a scale of 1:87, there is a lot to discover. In the outdoor area, there is a large garden railway that can even be controlled by yourself. The Campen lighthouse made of steel is the tallest lighthouse in Germany at 65 meters. Smaller, but just as beautiful, are the lighthouses of Borkum, a former church tower, or the one on Norderney. In summer, the still active lighthouse can be visited. There used to be 174 mills. You can still discover almost half of the mills, which are up to five stories high. The Vrouw Johanna Mill is now a gallery. A beach vacation is ideally spent in a holiday apartment, because after a bath in the refreshing sea, you relax on the terrace of your accommodation. A holiday home with a large garden in a quiet location, beach chair, and free Wi-Fi promises relaxing hours when you're not out and about in the city or nature. Specifically for the dog, a fenced garden is perfect for a relaxing vacation. A large holiday apartment is suitable for larger families who appreciate independence but do not want to do without free Wi-Fi. The Jaderberg amusement park is an excellent excursion destination that should not be missed during an East Frisia vacation. More than 600 exotic animals await visitors, both big and small, in the zoo, while in the amusement park, children's carousels and a play barn ensure unrestrained fun. Family-friendly East Frisia is always popular, which is why families especially love the variety of activities. Even if the weather is such that not even the four-legged friend wants to go out. The quiet North Sea resort Carolinensiel-Harlesiel is probably the only place in East Frisia that has a floating Christmas tree. From the North Sea beach, you go with the shrimp cutter to the seal banks. Children will still be raving about this visit in the modern holiday home in the evening. A mudflat walk along the North Sea coast or along the sandy beach is also suitable for both young and old. Also, take a trip to Wangerooge, Langeoog, Juist, Spiekeroog, Wittmund, or Baltrum.

Where can I eat out in East Frisia?

Gourmet Specialties East Frisian Style

Even today, products brought ashore by fishermen, wrested from the marsh and moor by East Frisians, dominate the East Frisian menu. Every holiday home has a refrigerator today, but that wasn't the case back then. So, try the traditional cuisine with salted meat, bacon, dried beans, and legumes. A special delicacy is smoked fish, but freshly cooked shrimp and mussels also delight the culinary palate when you return tired and with rosy cheeks from a hike in the World Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea. By the way, Granat is the East Frisian name for shrimp. Fancy trying the specialties from the region? With a Last-Minute offer, you'll soon be sitting with your four-legged friend in the evening in a beautiful holiday apartment, drinking tea and watching the fishermen at work during the day. Pure relaxation on the North Sea coast!

What is a must-see in East Frisia?

North Sea East Frisia: History Up Close

The Kunsthalle Emden with changing exhibitions is more interesting for adults who appreciate cultural offers near their holiday apartment on the North Sea privately. Instead of staying in an apartment in a central location, a museum like the East Frisian State Museum is just the thing to get to know the historically eventful East Frisia better. Emden is an idyllic spot in East Frisia, very cozy and quiet. In Kattrepel, you can experience an old craft up close, which is certainly interesting. Let them explain the blue dyeing to you: A craft that is almost extinct and lovingly maintained in East Frisia. The Navalis Gallery in Moormerland in a listed Gulf house displays works by the graphic artist Herbert Buß. Moin! It's even more fun to have East Frisian tea and learn about East Frisian sports like Klootschießen or traditional crafts like tile painting in Low German. In the evening, visit the city theater in Wilhelmshaven or the spa theater on Norderney. A visit to a cinema, popcorn included, is particularly appealing. Right in the middle, just rent accommodation, enjoy the peace with the dog from the terrace, and leisurely send holiday greetings via your Wi-Fi. Whether in Norden-Norddeich or Dorum-Neufeld, every holiday apartment in East Frisia has its advantages. Life at Norddeich with all its quirks is unimaginable for many, but East Frisia constantly lives with the dangers posed by the sea.

How do I come to Eastern Friesland?

North Sea: By Car or Plane to the East Frisian Eldorado Right at Your Doorstep

East Frisia - the northwesternmost region of Germany, located on the mainland of the North Sea and with seven inhabited islands along a chain of islands. Beautiful and refreshing in summer, rough in autumn and winter. Each of the islands in East Frisia has its own charm, just like every holiday accommodation on the North Sea. The 31 square kilometer island of Borkum - where pets and the sea meet with enthusiasm - is the largest East Frisian island. On seven of the eleven inhabited islands, you will find a home with a garden. Privately rented, the apartment in a charming environment like East Frisia is excellent for taking your dog to the sea. Simpler than with a holiday home or accommodation by the sea in Mallorca. The North Sea impresses with its unique landscape, entertaining anecdotes, and fantastic air. Book an affordable holiday apartment for you and your four-legged friend or a holiday home in Greetsiel to experience a wonderful vacation in the heart of East Frisia. A modern holiday apartment with a garden or a house is ideal if you want to walk along the North Sea or explore the mystery of Norddeich. For a relaxing holiday with a dog, you will surely find a comfortable apartment with a terrace or garden where your four-legged friend can romp around. The islands stretch nearly 90 kilometers from west to east. In front of Norddeich or near the Wadden Sea, you will fall in love with a cozy accommodation from which you can easily reach attractions like the charming town of Greetsiel with its old harbor by bike: Discover the area there with gabled houses from the 17th century, quaint Gulf farms, and the Pilsum Lighthouse during your vacation. Here you book your North Sea house privately to experience undisturbed holidays in a holiday home. Apartment, flat, or house with a garden: With your own car, you take the ferry so that you can reach your accommodation or your affordable lodging soon. The islands of Borkum and Norderney are traveled differently than Spiekeroog by plane. Don't forget during the ferry operation that some of the East Frisian Islands are tide-dependent. Frisians are quite a unique people, and not everyone may be as talkative as Otto Waalkes. However, this does not detract from the charm, so look forward to your East Frisian holiday apartment. Rent a cozy holiday accommodation or a house or apartment now, for example in Bensersiel, Neuharlingersiel, or Dornum, with a beach chair right on the North Sea coast and a view of the sandy beach, and enjoy your relaxing vacation with the family.
