★★★★★ A holiday home to feel good – we will come back!

We felt incredibly comfortable from the very first moment and immediately felt a bit at home. You can tell everywhere how much love and passion is put into this holiday home. Every little detail is beautiful and well thought out – from the sailboats and the "Moin" lettering to the beautiful glasses, chalices, and many loving little things.

Especially as a family with three children, the accommodation was perfect for us. The kitchen is excellently equipped and really lacks nothing. The children could go directly into the garden or onto the terrace in the morning, play and let off steam. In addition, the peace, the proximity to the sea, the beautiful surroundings, and of course Karl nearby – for us, simply a wonderful combination.

It is not just a holiday home for us, but a place where one truly feels welcome and at home. After our week, saying goodbye was quite difficult for us – especially because we had another accommodation afterward and realized even more how special this house is. A difference like night and day.

We would come back anytime and are already looking forward to vacationing here again. For us, it is certain: We will return – very gladly for several weeks!

Thank you very much for this wonderful time. We take many beautiful memories with us and also think back very fondly on our stay at home. ❤️

Great location

We stayed in the vacation apartment for two nights. Everything was great, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was not 100%. There were still gummy bears from the previous occupants in the couch crevice and there was also dirt at the sink in the bathroom, but otherwise it was great there. I would also note that in the height of summer, the attic apartment is very warm since there are only blinds in the bedrooms and unfortunately not in the bathroom and the other rooms.

Everything available that the heart desires

The house is a dream. It has everything you need. Even enough toilet paper for the time. We were in the house with a baby and a child and had a great time. The contact was very friendly and the arrival and departure went smoothly via key box. We will definitely come back.

Which sights are there in Koserow?

Koserow: Salt Huts and Artists

The amber spa town of Koserow is distinguished by Usedom's longest cliff coast and the forested Streckelsberg. It's no wonder that writers and artists like Niemeyer-Holstein have settled in Koserow. Notable attractions include the salt huts, built in 1820. Here, fishermen dried, smoked, or salted their catch well into the 20th century. Today, the salt huts house tourist facilities, charming shops, and restaurants, as well as some culinary specialties. Among the town's attractions is the beautiful Promenade Square with its pier, rebuilt in 1993. The Koserow fieldstone church from the 13th century is also worth a visit. It is one of the oldest churches on the island and features a winged altar from the 16th century. A bike ride to the former Forsthaus Damerow, which now houses the popular restaurant "Forst Damerow," is also delightful. Legend has it that the mythical city of Vineta once stood near the former wasteland of Damerow before it sank.

What do you need to experience in Koserow?

Art, Culture, Nature

A highlight near your vacation accommodation in Koserow is the former studio and residence of the artist Otto Niemeyer-Holstein. The painter lived here from 1939 until his death on the former wasteland of Damerow, where he also had his studio. Today, you can visit the residence and studio at the Museum Atelier Otto Niemeyer-Holstein. Seasonal opening hours and admission prices can be found here. Take a magnificent trip to the Imperial Spas Bansin, Heringsdorf, or Ahlbeck: Stroll past the white spa houses of Bansin, the grand villas from the founding era in Heringsdorf, and Germany's oldest pier in Ahlbeck all the way to the Polish Świnoujście.

What can you experience in Koserow with children?

Simply Relax

Vacation homes and apartments, located at the border to the neighboring community of Zempin, offer the widest and flattest beaches for families with children. The quiet location of the apartments and houses, never far from the next beach, guarantees a wonderful vacation in the fresh Baltic Sea air. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the cliff coast to the nearby Ückeritz or climb the Streckelsberg, the highest elevation and a natural attraction of Usedom. Koserow and the neighboring amber spas of Zempin, Kölpinsee, and Ückeritz welcome you and your dog. And nothing stands in the way of your vacation with your dog in Koserow: Dog-friendly landlords and beautiful beach sections allowed for dogs await you here. Families with small children will enjoy the many sandy beaches and shallow Baltic shores that allow for extensive splashing in the water. And if you're in the mood for some action, visit Karls Adventure Village. The amusement park is open daily from 8 AM to 7 PM, and a day ticket costs 12€ for both children and adults.

Where can I eat out in Koserow?

From the Sea and the Forests

Typical fish specialties from Usedom include smoked fish, the Jasmunder Fish Pot, and the Lassaner Matjes Variations. Be surprised by Usedom's culinary delights and also try the numerous game specialties the island has to offer.
