Description

Our semi-detached log cabin is located on our property. You and your children can play on a large lawn or use the lawn as a sunbathing area. The house has its own large terrace with garden furniture and charcoal grill.
We ask smokers to smoke here.
On the ground floor there is a large, open, fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven and microwave.
A washing machine is located in the guest toilet room.
A large living and dining area with a large table.
The couch in the living room can be used as a sofa bed. A SAT TV and a radio are available
On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and a single bed, the other room with two single beds) and a bathroom. Around Stadtkyll there are numerous signposted cycling and hiking trails. You can learn a lot about the flora and fauna of the Eifel in the immediate vicinity.
Stadtkyll is conveniently located on the B 51, about an hour's drive southwest of Cologne.

An EvBox wallbox is available for use by our guests with e-cars.
The charging current is charged according to consumption.

Pleasant house, feels larger than it looks in the pictures.

We had a wonderful stay in this house. It is conveniently located for excursions of all kinds, hiking trails start directly from the house, and it is well-equipped. The busy road mentioned in other reviews is indeed present and quite heavily trafficked, hence the 4 stars for the location, but it did not bother us. It might have been different if we wanted to spend more time outdoors (which unfortunately was not possible in October). We would love to come back!

Nice holiday home in the hills near the beach.

Nice holiday house in a very beautiful area. Ideally located for trips in the surroundings. The house is fully furnished, equipped with all conveniences. A disadvantage is the busy road next to the house.

we were pleasantly surprised, very beautiful house, everything was very clean, we felt very comfortable, everything you need is there, Mr. Heck was very helpful and always responded immediately, so we can only recommend everything here and would have liked to stay longer. the son came by briefly and was happy to answer any questions. Thumbs up, I mean both, we like to come back here, Mr. Heck, thank you very much for this beautiful house. Stay healthy, we wish you all the best, we will definitely come back again.

Beautiful short vacation

The house is spacious. Everything you need for a holiday stay is available. Although we were only two with our Beagle lady here, there would have been enough space for two to three children as well.
The hosts are very friendly. You can enjoy your holiday undisturbed.
Stadtkyll is a small town located very centrally in the Eifel. Whether shopping, strolling, or dining out, everything can be found nearby.

Not suitable for repetition

The first impression is nice, but upon closer inspection, everything is very cheaply furnished and poorly maintained.

The people are not at all hospitable, the house is located next to a road where you can hear the cars very well, both day and night. It smells of smoke when the son of the family smokes behind the holiday home.

And the worst part was that they charged us an extra 20 euros for cleaning because our puppy defecated in the garden twice due to having diarrhea. We had cleaned up, but a stone still had a barely visible trace of it. The owner had a very big issue with that and did not want to believe that we had cleaned up everything. After that, she did not even have the decency to wish us a safe journey home.

Therefore, we do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. We have rented several apartments in this area where you can find a better apartment with friendly hosts for less money.

Haustiere sind in unserem Ferienhaus gerne willkommen. Sicher werden Sie aber verstehen,
das auch die Hunde ihr "Geschäft" nicht in den Garten oder auf den Rasen machen dürfen.
Es gibt nämlich auch Feriengäste mit Kindern die gerne auf dem Rasen spielen.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Man ist recht zentral der Eifel gelegen. Alle ausflugsziele sind schnell zu erreichen.

Schone Urlaub

The holiday home is very conveniently located in the center of Stadtkyll.
