Simply great

We have stayed in many holiday homes before, but this one has exceeded all our expectations. Even for the little guests, everything has been thought of so that you can easily leave big toy trunks or necessary accessories behind. It's just fantastic, and the communication with the landlord and the property manager leaves nothing to be desired. We will definitely come back!

Top Ferienhaus

For many years now, we have been coming to Neßmersiel and prefer the holiday homes of the Ockenfels family. Great house for the whole family and dog in a quiet location

We spent a great week in this wonderful and high-quality holiday home. The house is highly recommended, especially for families (even with a dog). The equipment (especially the kitchen) is phenomenal for a holiday home.

It's only a short walk to the dyke/sea, and there are shopping facilities for essential items. Larger shopping facilities are just a few minutes' drive away. The accommodation is also ideal as a starting point for exploring the whole of East Frisia.

Traumurlaub

The chalet at the Wadden Sea is simply a dream - and the dream comes true twice. We booked in the summer of 2018 and from the beginning there was very good communication with the landlady, Mrs. Ockenfels. Everything worked perfectly, all agreements - also regarding wheelchair accessibility, as I am a wheelchair user myself. We arrived and were thrilled from the beginning. Two identical houses, two dreamy accompanying gardens, unbelievable. We would like to thank you for a wonderful week that we spent in both of Mrs. Ockenfels' houses. Everything is exactly as described. Our conclusion is: Where one has had very good experiences and feels at home, we gladly return :-)

North Sea in Winter

We stayed with our dog at the Chalet am Wattenmeer in February. The house is very well-maintained. The upscale amenities offer much more than necessary for a relaxing holiday.

Even in this rather unusual season for a holiday on the North Sea, Neßmersiel is worth a visit. With such a great accommodation, the unfortunately too short break was perfect.

We will definitely come back.

Last year, we stayed in this beautiful holiday home with 5 adults, a toddler, and two dogs. The house is very spacious, and even with so many people, it did not feel crowded. The furnishings were high quality, making us feel at home right away. The fireplace provided cozy warmth on cold November days. The only slight downside were the thin walls, which were not ideal with a child that didn't sleep through the night, but it was okay. Our dogs really enjoyed the garden, they were able to romp outside without any problems due to the high fence. We were particularly pleased that our dog from the shelter was not only allowed but welcome as well. We will definitely come back for another visit.

Feel-good house

We have been to Neßmersiel several times. This was by far the most beautiful house.
It was like arriving as soon as you got in. Top furnishings inside and out. We especially liked the lockable bicycle storage and the parking space that can be easily moved in and out. The fly screens also prevented disturbing flatmates

Family holiday July 2018

Hello together,
we spent a wonderful family holiday with grandmas and grandpas and toddler in the Chalet Haus. The house lacks nothing. Neßmersiel is a perfect central location for all the activities to the east and west of East Frisia. The beach is sufficient, and if you don't like it, it's only a 5-minute drive to the dune beach in Norddeich
we deducted 1 star from the furnishings for the parents' double bed, for the throughput of guests, one or two euros more could have been spent on the quality. Otherwise you are undisturbed all around and you can spend a great week there. Good recommendation!

It was truly a wonderful week in the beautiful chalet. Nothing was missing. The rooms and bathrooms are large, spacious, bright, and very tastefully furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped (we especially enjoyed the coffee machine ;-)), the garden invites you to linger. Not only the children felt comfortable right away, but our poodle also felt at home. Recreation that leaves nothing to be desired

Great, new, and very clean house with a huge garden. Everything you need for relaxation is available. Everything on one level, quiet, and superb location to the nearest towns. The furnishings were done with a lot of attention to detail, the bathrooms were very spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Restaurants, supermarket, bakery - everything available in the village and within walking distance. The (dog-friendly) beach was great, and very close by. I felt more than comfortable and will book the house again.

Family vacation for young and old.

Hello dear family vacationers.
This is a super exclusive and luxurious domicile. We were here with 3 generations and had a lot of fun. The house is equipped with everything. The two bathrooms are pure wellness oases with everything you need.
So if you are looking for a great holiday accommodation, I can only recommend this one. We will also visit the other properties of the Ockenfels family. Thanks again to our landlords. Weather-wise a bit mixed but everything included, even sunburn.

Get bread and cake at a small grocery store with bakery within an 8-minute walk - highly recommended top restaurant: Fährhaus in Neßmersiel
to the North Sea it's just under 2 km and the weather couldn't be better - 8 days of sun at 20-25°C, with a light breeze all around pure relaxation

We stayed for 2 nights with 6 people and 2 dogs in the chalet by the Wadden Sea! It was a great stay and we felt very comfortable! The house is very comfortable and super equipped - even a coffee machine!

Dream vacation on the North Sea.

This great holiday home lives up to its promise. Absolutely nothing is missing here!
Not only is this a very nice house with 145 m² on one level - it is also very high quality and tastefully furnished and equipped. Really top!
Especially suitable for dogs or children - and certainly also for seniors. The garden also offers a lot of space.
A very good location completes the whole - quiet in a residential area yet very close to the dike and town center. Conclusion: Highly recommended - also for the highest standards!

It was beautiful.

We felt really comfortable here. All rooms on the ground floor on one level, which was great - especially because Grandma has trouble walking. The place is small but nice, not a tourist hotspot. We really enjoyed it and can wholeheartedly recommend the house.
