We rented this accommodation in February at short notice. We had 7 wonderful days, even though the weather was not so great. This beautiful apartment made up for the weather: spacious, very comfortably furnished, super equipped, very quiet location and a wonderful view of the coastal forest and the Baltic Sea (whether from the bed or the sofa :-) ). We spent 2 beautiful weeks in this great holiday flat
It was by far the best and cleanest and perfectly furnished flat we have ever had (and we have had a few). Nothing was missing. Often flats are sparsely equipped with cooking utensils, so we always take a big pot, potato peeler..... with us on holiday. But here it was different, everything stayed in the bag. The entire flat made a well-kept impression, plus the fantastic view!!! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but that can't be helped. We will certainly come back again.

A bit further away is the village of Gollwitz, which offers a view of the bird sanctuary island Langenwerder, rising out of the water opposite. In Gollwitz, there is also a beacon and a lighthouse. Another lighthouse can be found in Timmendorf. The local museum near the community center in the center of Kirchdorf presents the life of the locals and the development of the island, focusing on both geological and historical facts. With changing special exhibitions, the organizers enliven this interesting cultural site. The residents of the island of Poel are exceptionally hospitable.
