An extraordinary house.

A large house that offers plenty of space for 2-6 people, is very well furnished, and is located in an environment that is unparalleled. From a fitness room to a sauna to a trampoline in the garden and a carport for the car, the area provides a perfect accommodation and base for the vacation. Wickendorf is well connected in terms of transport, making Schwerin and the Baltic Sea easily accessible. A dock by the lake, where we enjoyed swimming, is also within walking distance. A place, an accommodation that I like to remember and to which we like to return.

Vacation apartment

Upon entering the apartment, we were very positively surprised. It was modernly furnished and very clean. One could feel comfortable right away. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept well. Also, in advance, everything went smoothly with all the formalities. We would have wished for warmer weather, but no one can influence that. It was just bad luck!? Nevertheless, we really liked it!

The Töpper family is incredibly accommodating and hospitable! The holiday apartment is very cozy and lovingly furnished, everything is really great. We lacked nothing and felt very comfortable. Absolutely recommendable! The location is also super. There is a lake across the street and it is not far from the center. Still very quietly located. Thank you for everything!

The highlight is, of course, the Schwerin Castle, located on an island in the middle of Lake Schwerin. After touring the castle, you can stroll through the Castle and Palace Gardens. The park is considered the most beautiful Baroque complex in Northern Germany. Next, head to the Old Garden. Contrary to what the name suggests, the Old Garden is a centrally located square. Not far from there is also the Schwerin Cathedral. From the 101-meter-high Schwerin TV Tower, you can take one last look at the entire city at the end of your walk through the Old Town. Among the attractions in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania that you should not miss is definitely the Mecklenburg Lake District. Lake Schwerin alone offers water sports opportunities, walks with beautiful lake views, or a trip with the White Fleet.
