Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District between the historic harbor city of Wismar (16 km) and the state capital Schwerin (23 km). It is an ideal starting point for visiting both cities. Here you can combine a beach or active holiday with city tours.
Shopping facilities (Edeka, Aldi, Netto), restaurants, and everything else you need, such as doctors, pharmacy, post office, and pizza service, can be found in the neighboring small town of Bad Kleinen (3 km). Likewise, a train station.
The cycling and hiking trail around Lake Schwerin passes right by your doorstep.
You can buy fresh fish from the lake just a few minutes’ walk away from a traditional fisherman.
In addition to Schwerin and Wismar, there are further excursion options: the island of Poel, the Baltic Sea resorts of Boltenhagen, Warnemünde, and Kühlungsborn. The Müritz is easy to reach. A tip: Leave your car in the neighboring small town and use Deutsche Bahn to get to Hamburg, Lübeck, or Rostock quickly, comfortably, cheaply, and without parking problems.

Two high-quality canoes are available to you at any time. Additionally, you can book bikes and SUPs, as available. The SUPs cost €26 each, the bikes also €28 each. They are then available to you for your entire stay.
If you are unable to start your holiday, we will make every effort to find a replacement. Very often we succeed in this. In that case, you will only be charged a processing fee of 12.35% of the rental amount. We can offer you one or two more great accommodations for another 5 or 6 people in the immediate vicinity. Contact us!
Arrival day is Saturday in each case; in winter, other days can be chosen individually.

Great surroundings, beautifully furnished, perfectly equipped.
The area was simply beautiful. I took many long walks while my husband made himself comfortable on the terrace and enjoyed the lake view. A great vacation! Everything was beautifully furnished and everything was there, from dog bowls to filter bags to the milk frother (which I unfortunately discovered too late). I've never experienced anything like it. Simply indescribable.
