The modernized thatched-roof house combines special charm with modern comfort. It is part of a lovingly converted barn with three separate residential units, similar to a terraced house – with its own entrance, terrace, and garden – only much nicer. This way you can enjoy your peace and quiet.
Upon entering, you arrive in the hallway. From there, a few steps lead down into the open living, dining, and kitchen area. The living space opens towards the lake and leads directly onto the terrace. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor. Swimming, canoeing, stand-up paddling – everything is possible directly from the shore.
You can reach the center of Wismar in about 20 minutes, and the state capital Schwerin with its castle, old town, and harbor in just under 25 minutes. At this place, nature, the possibility of a city trip, and short distances to the Baltic Sea come together. So you can decide anew every day what you want.

Shopping facilities (Edeka, Aldi, Netto), restaurants, and everything else necessary, such as doctors, pharmacy, post office, pizza service, can be found in the neighboring small town of Bad Kleinen (3 km). There is also a train station.
The cycling and hiking trail around Lake Schwerin passes right by your front door.
You can buy fresh fish from the lake just a few minutes' walk away from a traditional fisherman.

Your dog is very welcome. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the bathing beach during the summer months (May to September).
Arrival day is always Saturday; in winter, other days can be chosen individually.
Note for our winter holiday guests: Please note that in case of snow and ice, no winter service is available. Last but not least: Due to bathers and playing children, it can occasionally get louder at the adjacent bathing beach, despite the otherwise quiet and super beautiful location! We ask for your understanding!
