Description
The charming Finn cottage is located only 200 m as the crow flies from Lake Schwerin. It offers 40 m² of space for up to 4 people for a relaxing holiday. From the entrance of the house you enter the well-equipped kitchen, the shower room and the living/dining area with access to the terrace and the garden. A staircase leads to the two bedrooms. The front bedroom (passage room and without door to the stairs) is equipped with 2 single beds. The bedroom behind has 2 single beds (can be pushed together as a double bed) + a fixed cot. You can enjoy the view of Lake Schwerin from the bedroom window. The windows can be darkened and are equipped with insect screens. W-Lan, children's high chair and handcart are available for free use. The house is heated by electric radiators.
The approx. 500 m² property offers enough space to play and relax. From the end of the property you can see all the way to the lake. Sun loungers, garden furniture, parasol and barbecue are available. The little ones can let off steam in the sandpit, on the swing, the tree house or the slide. You can park your car safely under your own carport. A lockable bicycle shed and 4 rental bicycles are at your disposal.

The place
Hohen Viecheln is a small, dreamy fishing village at the northern tip of Lake Schwerin. The guests who come here feel very much at home. The village lies on the edge of the Döpe nature reserve. In Hohen Viecheln you can walk to the fisherman's shop with fish sale and snack bar, restaurant, playground, boat rental, bathing beach with large sunbathing lawn and bus stop. Well-maintained cycling and hiking paths lead through the village.
Leisure and excursions
The Hanseatic city of Wismar with its historic old town and harbour is only 15 km away. The old town and the market are well worth seeing. In Wismar you will find leisure facilities such as a zoo, leisure and adventure pool, shopping centre, harbour tours, cinema and more. You can also reach the state capital Schwerin in about 15 km. The Baltic Sea, the beach in Zierow near Wismar, is about 20 km away.
In the next village Bad Kleinen (approx. 3 km) you will find everything for your daily needs: supermarkets, shops, tourist information, bicycle rental, pharmacy, doctors, restaurant, guarded beach, etc.

Small, but wow!!
We felt very comfortable in the "Frommhütte" with our dog, the three of us. The small kitchen and the shower room are absolutely sufficient, equipped with everything you need. In the living-dining area, we could have a great breakfast and watch some TV when it rained. In sunny weather, you can sit comfortably on the large terrace with a view of the wonderfully large, fenced garden, which our dog enjoyed very much! The car is safely parked under a carport, and there is even a storage option for bicycles in the garden shed. A small staircase leads to the attic area, where very soft, cozy beds await. Unfortunately, there was no blackout covering on one of the roof windows, but there was more than enough closet space and storage options. We were only there for 2 nights, but we will definitely come back for a longer stay! We really enjoyed it and we thank you once again for the welcome flowers and the hospitality! Absolutely recommendable!

Relaxing vacation
We had a very nice and relaxing holiday in the well-equipped Finnish cottage. The surroundings are perfect for walking with or without a dog. The Schwerin Lake can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The Finnish cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, and the garden is great for dogs. The Fromm family were very nice hosts. Our dog Lorik found the sheep Blacky very interesting and watched it every day. We will definitely come back.

We were here!
We spent 1 week vacation here. We were lucky to enjoy the peace in very nice weather. Many thanks to Mrs. Fromm for the nice welcome and the lovely care during our stay.
The house has everything you need. You can relax on the terrace and the neighbors are also nice.
The fish snack by the lake is highly recommended. Fish couldn't be fresher.
We will gladly come back.

Wellness vacation
We felt very comfortable in Fromm's Finnish cottage and can gladly recommend this accommodation. Those who are looking for peace and relaxation will appreciate the location of the separate property. The Schweriner See is within walking distance, the bathing area is very clean and well-maintained, and the surroundings can be explored very well by bike. The Fromm family are very friendly landlords for their guests, we would love to come back sometime.
