Description
The charming Finn cottage is located only 200 m as the crow flies from Lake Schwerin. It offers 40 m² of space for up to 4 people for a relaxing holiday. From the entrance of the house you enter the well-equipped kitchen, the shower room and the living/dining area with access to the terrace and the garden. A staircase leads to the two bedrooms. The front bedroom (passage room and without door to the stairs) is equipped with 2 single beds. The bedroom behind has 2 single beds (can be pushed together as a double bed) + a fixed cot. You can enjoy the view of Lake Schwerin from the bedroom window. The windows can be darkened and are equipped with insect screens. W-Lan, children's high chair and handcart are available for free use. The house is heated by electric radiators.
The approx. 500 m² property offers enough space to play and relax. From the end of the property you can see all the way to the lake. Sun loungers, garden furniture, parasol and barbecue are available. The little ones can let off steam in the sandpit, on the swing, the tree house or the slide. You can park your car safely under your own carport. A lockable bicycle shed and 4 rental bicycles are at your disposal.

The place
Hohen Viecheln is a small, dreamy fishing village at the northern tip of Lake Schwerin. The guests who come here feel very much at home. The village lies on the edge of the Döpe nature reserve. In Hohen Viecheln you can walk to the fisherman's shop with fish sale and snack bar, restaurant, playground, boat rental, bathing beach with large sunbathing lawn and bus stop. Well-maintained cycling and hiking paths lead through the village.
Leisure and excursions
The Hanseatic city of Wismar with its historic old town and harbour is only 15 km away. The old town and the market are well worth seeing. In Wismar you will find leisure facilities such as a zoo, leisure and adventure pool, shopping centre, harbour tours, cinema and more. You can also reach the state capital Schwerin in about 15 km. The Baltic Sea, the beach in Zierow near Wismar, is about 20 km away.
In the next village Bad Kleinen (approx. 3 km) you will find everything for your daily needs: supermarkets, shops, tourist information, bicycle rental, pharmacy, doctors, restaurant, guarded beach, etc.

We were here!
We spent 1 week vacation here. We were lucky to enjoy the peace in very nice weather. Many thanks to Mrs. Fromm for the nice welcome and the lovely care during our stay.
The house has everything you need. You can relax on the terrace and the neighbors are also nice.
The fish snack by the lake is highly recommended. Fish couldn't be fresher.
We will gladly come back.

Wellness vacation
We felt very comfortable in Fromm's Finnish cottage and can gladly recommend this accommodation. Those who are looking for peace and relaxation will appreciate the location of the separate property. The Schweriner See is within walking distance, the bathing area is very clean and well-maintained, and the surroundings can be explored very well by bike. The Fromm family are very friendly landlords for their guests, we would love to come back sometime.

Schöner Urlaub
Wir verbrachten einen sehr schönen Osterurlaub. Alles war wie beschrieben, die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und freunlich, ohne einem auf den Wecker zu fallen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in wundervoller Umgebung. Die Nähe zur Ostsee mit der schönen Stadt Wismar macht den Standort noch interessanter. Auf dem schönen großen eingezäunten Grundstück fühlten sich unsere Hunde sehr wohl.

Radurlaub
Kleines, nettes Haus ideal für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern oder als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Einfach eingerichtet ( keine Spülmaschine, kein Backofen) und das Internet geht auch nicht.

vielen Dank für das Feedback. Es freut uns, dass Ihnen die Unterkunft und Umgebung gefallen hat. Aus Platzgründen musste in der Küche auf einen Backofen und eine Spülmaschine verzichtet werden. In den Ausstattungsmerkmalen sind diese auch nicht angegeben. Das Internet hat aktuell in der Tat Störungen. Das hängt wohlmöglich mit der Umstellung auf Glasfaser zusammen. Ein Techniker ist beauftragt.

Erholsame Tage ,trotz schlechten Wetters!
Die Hütte liegt sehr zentral ,für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung sehr zu empfehlen.Man kommt schnell mit den Nachbarn in Kontakt und fühlt sich sehr willkommen ,auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt!

Die Unterkunft können wir nur weiter empfehlen.. so toll... es fehlt an nichts. Spielzeug für Kinder, Erwachsene und für Hunde alles vorhanden. Die Vermieterin war super nett. Nächstes Jahr kommen wir wieder.

Very nice holiday home
We can definitely recommend this Finn cottage; it is in a quiet location and there was everything you need in the household. In the neighbouring village of Bad Kleinen, 3 km away, you can do your shopping very well. We (61 and 64) and our 6-year-old grandson felt very comfortable and our dog had plenty of room to run around in the large garden. Although the cottage is advertised for 4 people, we had enough room on four days for the children (2 adults and a 2-year-old child), who visited us from Thursday to Sunday, because there is also a cot. The landlady is also very nice and friendly, lives right next door. The Baltic Sea and the island of Poel as well as Lübeck and Wismar are not far away. It was a very nice relaxing holiday!

Empfehlenswert!!
Wir hatten tolle Tage in dem gemütlichen Ferienhaus. Alles sauber und vorhanden. Ein sehr schönes Dorf. Das Objekt war eingezäunt,somit auch für Hund perfekt. Die Vermieter sehr freundlich und das Nachbars Kängeruh echt witzig. Wir kommen gerne gewiss mal wieder.

Kurzurlaub
Finnhütte bietet ausreichend Komfort in gemütlicher stiller Lage. Wir haben uns
dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Was fehlt ist ein Bäcker und Lebensmittelladen vor Ort.
Dafür erhält man sehr schmackhaften Fisch aus dem Schweriner See beim Fischer
in nächster Nähe.

Toller Urlaub
Wir haben uns in der Finnhütte von Familie Fromm sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war alles da was man braucht. Sehr gefallen hat uns die Terrasse mit der großen Wiese (eingezäunt)wo unsere Hündin sich austoben konnte und die zum relaxen einlädt.
Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub und das Wetter war auch perfekt.

Pure Erholung

Erholsamer Urlaub in gut ausgestattetem Ferienhaus mit tollem Preis-Leitungs-Verhältnis
In diesem kleinen aber voll funktionstüchtigen Ferienhaus haben wir ( 2 Personen über 70 J.) eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Das Haus macht einen gepflegten Eindruck, bietet auf recht kleinem Raum 4 Personen ausreichend Platz und Komfort. Optisch besticht der Garten mit großer Rasenfläche. Ein Carport. direkt neben dem Haus eine kleine Terrasse und eine Art Geräteschuppen runden den guten Gesamteindruck ab. Wer Ruhe. Natur und landschaftlich schöne Umgebung sucht, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Nicht unerwähnt bleiben darf die liebenswerte und unkomplizierte Vermieterin, die sich nicht zu schade war, uns die nebenan gelegene Kirche in allen Einzelheiten vorzustellen. Wer sich in diesem Haus nicht wohl fühlt, muß die Gründe bei sich selbst suchen.
