The "Alte Büdnerei" in Pinnow
In the old village centre near the lake, on a former farm in a traditional thatched-roof house dating from 1786, lies your holiday home in the countryside.
The spacious, quiet farmstead (2 hectares) has been in the family for 130 years.
The holiday home was lovingly rebuilt by us, the owners live on site and are always available for you. Separate entrance and a sunny terrace facing south-east directly in front of the large living room window; garden furniture, sun loungers, sunbathing lawn, barbecue, fireplace on the farm;
Shared use of the 20000m² courtyard and garden areas - ideal for children.
The fee for the final cleaning is 40 euros, plus 10 euros per person for bed linen (on request) and, if desired, towels for 5 euros per person
Extensive baby and toddler accessories can be provided free of charge on request.

The spacious living and dining room overlooking the sunny terrace offers comfortable seating for 4 people, satellite TV , DVD player, internet (W-LAN) and a wonderful place for breakfast in the morning light

The lovingly designed bathroom with underfloor heating and bathtub invites you to feel good.
First bedroom:
The cosy bedroom on the ground floor with double bed, wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets. A toddler bed can be added here free of charge.
Sleeping loft (Hems):
The romantic sleeping loft, which is open to the living room, offers two additional sleeping places of a very special kind. (1 French double bed)
Where 230 years ago the hay was stored for the animals, now guests rest comfortably.
Ideal for self-catering:
The fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer compartment and extensive cooking utensils offers everything the self-caterer could wish for.
For those who prefer to let others cook, 2 restaurants in town and numerous delivery services offer variety.

Location and surroundings of object
You can reach us coming from Hamburg or Berlin via the A24.
At the Schwerin junction, turn off onto the A14 (formerly A241)- direction Wismar / Schwerin
leave the motorway at the exit Schwerin Ost / Crivitz
you reach the federal road B321, turn left towards Parchim / Crivitz
after approx. 1.5 km turn left towards Pinnow on a small country road lined with fruit trees
after another 1000m you will reach the entrance to Pinnow
follow the main road to the first crossroads at the bus stop (500m)
here the main road turns right towards Pinnow-Petersberg, continue straight ahead on the cobbled street into the old village centre
after 150m turn left onto the old village square
after 50m you will reach your destination on the left in the back corner of the village square More than just pure nature: Pinnow is an unspoilt little village with beautiful lakes and forests in the immediate vicinity of the state capital Schwerin (5km) and yet situated in the heart of the nature of the Mecklenburg lake district (landscape conservation area, nature park).
Due to the proximity to the "city of the 7 lakes", Schwerin with its fairytale castle, there are also numerous cultural activities on offer.
We are also happy to provide tips for excursions and tours. Detailed information and maps are available for you. High-quality bicycles can also be rented (€5 per day). Golf course and glider airfield in the immediate vicinity (taster courses, opportunities to fly with you)

Lake Pinnow is unrivalled in terms of water quality (drinking water abstraction area) and is beautifully nestled in a wooded valley with its islands. There are numerous bathing opportunities for a wide range of requirements, from public bathing facilities with a flat beach for children to nudist beaches and a secluded bathing bay on one of the islands.

Beautiful house in a quiet location
We were able to spend some quiet and relaxing days over New Year's Eve in this holiday home with our dog. The house is very cosy and tastefully furnished, we felt very comfortable and wanted for nothing. There are beautiful walks right behind the house, with or without the dog, and it is also not far to some of the many bathing spots around the village. The contact with the landlords is very cordial, everything was uncomplicated. We were travelling without children, but this holiday home is very suitable for small children because of its large garden with all kinds of play equipment. And because this is an important criterion for us when choosing our properties, it should also be mentioned positively: the wifi reception is very good.
We can unreservedly recommend this holiday home!
