Great apartment in a great location

Very well located apartment with very good amenities: large rooms, a huge bathroom, and a separate toilet, and the washing machine also helps to enjoy the vacation even in bad weather - even with 6 people. Both apartments each have a separate parking space. Overall, absolutely recommended, and the handling is pleasant and quick. We have been in both apartments four times so far and are happy to return.

If you don't go on a mudflat hike during your vacation at the North Sea, you're missing one of the country's greatest attractions. The Wadden Sea National Park is divided into the Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Lower Saxony Wadden Sea. All three parts are part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea. It's best to book a guided tour, as no one can provide you with more information about the nature reserve than a knowledgeable local staff member. Along the North Sea and on the islands, there are information centers with informative exhibitions that are also very interesting for children. The National Park House Wurster North Sea Coast in Dorum-Neufeld features large aquariums where you can watch some inhabitants of the mudflats live in action. The Multimar Wattforum in the cozy harbor town of Tönning is another information center, the largest in Schleswig-Holstein. The fact that the water isn't really there at low tide often doesn't bother little water rats much. There's so much to discover in the mudflats that boredom is unlikely to arise. Plus, the kids will love stomping in the muddy silt. Make sure they take off their rubber boots before returning to the accommodation after such a hike. Families are especially found on the Eiderstedt Peninsula, on Borkum and Amrum, but also in Friedrichskoog and St. Peter-Ording in Schleswig-Holstein, as well as in Cuxhaven-Döse. Here, there are great beaches and numerous affordable vacation apartments and houses in close proximity to the beach and in quiet locations. If it happens to rain for three days, a visit to the adventure pool on Borkum will bring back the good mood. This is also true for parents, as it has a generous spa area. A major highlight for young vacationers is also a trip to the seal station Friedrichskoog, where they can watch seals and sea lions up close. In the family-friendly town of Friedrichskoog, over 2,500 square meters are reserved for limitless play fun: The 125-meter-long Whale Willi houses an indoor play park, offering everything from climbing walls to mazes to electric go-kart tracks, making little adventurers' hearts beat faster. To stay on the topic of animals: Is one of your best friends a dog? Then bring them along on the trip. Many accommodations welcome pets. Art lovers should keep an eye on the Nolde Foundation Seebüll. The famous painter Emil Nolde was born nearby. The museum hosts changing exhibitions each year but is closed over the winter. Literature enthusiasts will perk up at the name Theodor Storm: The writer was born in Husum. The house where he lived from 1866 to 1880 is now a museum and can be visited.
