This house has a great atmosphere! Super cozy and spacious, perfect for relaxing with friends or family. The garden is great for barbecues, and the beach is just a short walk away. Definitely a good place for a weekend getaway.

It was a very well-maintained facility, the house was clean, and also well-equipped. The location directly behind the dike is of course absolutely great. If you then study the tide table properly, you can adjust your beach visit to the tides. Otherwise, the alternative is the outdoor pool or the indoor pool, both with a slide. Good excursion destinations are available with the town of Goes. It is also not far to Vlissingen.

The house and the property are of a size suitable for families with children and pets. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we had to find that the house was not cleaned satisfactorily at all. The dishes as well as the bathroom, among other things, had to be cleaned first with the few supplies available in the house or brought by us. Even toilet paper was missing. It is therefore questionable why here, and I think this applies to all vacationers, a cleaning fee of €50 must be paid when the house is found in this condition. Overall, the house also gives the impression that it is partially very neglected and worn out. Of the advertised bicycles, just as an example, none were in a rideable or roadworthy condition. It is therefore recommended to bring your own bicycles. So in conclusion about the house, we can only say that we have experienced everything better in other holiday homes in the Netherlands and also felt more welcome here. At least on the first day, one could bridge the time here with the supplies provided by the landlord (bottle of water, toilet paper, etc.) somewhere after a long drive. However, the region is beautiful. The indoor and outdoor pools of the neighboring campsite can be used. The campsite offers plenty of activities from morning to evening for the kids. A supermarket as well as restaurants and snack bars are within walking distance, reachable in 2-5 minutes. It is advisable to explore the beautiful area (nature reserves, along the Scheldt, etc.) by bike. The cities of Goes and Middelburg are also easily accessible by car. Beautiful cities that offer not only many shopping opportunities. We would definitely come to the region again, but we would choose a different house.
