A great week - gladly again!

We were looking for a place to stay for a week and found this lovely house! It is only a few minutes away from the beautiful and wide beach, in a kind of park with a lot of space between the houses, and very little traffic
The house offers plenty of space for 4 people, more would have been possible. There is everything you need for a stay, including bicycles in the garage, with which you can easily get to the nearby villages
The landlords are very nice and helpful - everything tip top for a week (or more!) very relaxing holiday.

Simply great

We have been to Vrouwenpolder many times and the accommodations were all great, but this one topped it all. Great landlords, super contact, always open to help if something is needed, you only had to ask "Where can I..." and they already had an address, tips, and a pair of binoculars ready for you. Truly amazing hospitality. And the bad weather program (deer at the door) was fantastic.

Great location...we as a couple with a dog were able to use it well for trips, beach walks, swimming, and much more.
Nicely furnished...well-designed layout...perfect.

Nowhere Else Has So Many Museums

Domburg is perhaps the most famous artists' village in all of Zeeland. In the early 20th century, it became an artists' colony as many scene stars were inspired by the unique light in Walcheren.
Among them were Jan and Charley Toorop or Piet Mondrian.

Here, you can visit the Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum, which is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. (As of November 2023)

On the walk In the Light of Toorop and Mondrian, you can experience the artists' inspiration firsthand.

Throughout Zeeland, there are various art routes. Discover in Vlissingen the walking and cycling paths along impressive artworks.
A route on Schouwen-Duiveland leads through twelve different island villages with works by over 200 artists.
The Route of Tholen is even a two-day event featuring music and art.

On two weekends in August, the Kunstspoor on Noord-Beveland features all sorts of artworks in numerous galleries on the island.
