Beautiful small vacation home

The small holiday home is equipped with everything one needs at home. It was clean and tidy. The park is nicely laid out, but more for vacationers with smaller children. The supermarket is well stocked, but incredibly expensive!!!! Very poor labeling of baked goods and prices!!! Furthermore, we missed a bit more gastronomy in the park.

Beautiful short holiday

We have been here for the 3rd time now and we liked it very much again. The house is very cosy and the surroundings are great. Ideal for cycling, always along the water for kilometres. The water was still too cold for swimming in May. We will be back!

Great family holiday

A beautiful holiday home, well maintained and very cosy. We felt comfortable all around! The children had many opportunities to play (football field, playground). It is also great that you can use the bicycles that belong to the landlords. The landlady is very nice and friendly! We will gladly come again! Thank you! :-)

Within a few minutes on foot or by bike, you can reach the village of Bruinisse with its own yacht and cutter harbor. The local fleet consists of about 30 ships that land their catch in Bruinisse daily. Every year on the third weekend in July, Bruinisse hosts the Visserijdagen (Fishery Days). Highlights include the beaches along the North Sea coast of the island. You'll find natural beaches, sections for surfing and playing, family and dog beaches – perfect for a holiday with your dog in Aquadelta. The cozy houses in the Aquadelta holiday park have a spacious garden with a terrace where your dog can roam freely. The Grevelingen is also a paradise for divers. The water is exceptionally clear and offers a diverse underwater landscape. The popular diving spots of Grevelingen are just a few kilometers west of Aquadelta near Scharendijke.

Adventurous gastronauts seeking extraordinary holiday experiences might try the technically creative meat croquettes from vending machines. Yes, that's a thing in Holland. And the popular Bitterballen served with freshly tapped beer are part of the holiday experience in Zeeland. These croquettes, filled with beef or veal, were originally served with digestive bitters. By the way, beer in Holland is poured quickly and the foam head, so beloved elsewhere, is wiped off with a spatula. What you get is a glass of hop soda filled to the brim.

How to Get to the Island of Schouwen-Duiveland

Your holiday apartment or house in Aquadelta is within walking distance to the village of Bruinisse by the beautiful Grevelingenmeer in the Dutch province of Zeeland. You can easily reach your accommodation in the Aquadelta holiday park by car. From the Ruhr area, the route goes through Eindhoven and Tilburg, and from the Cologne area towards Aachen and Antwerp to the island of Schouwen-Duiveland. The journey takes about three to four hours. If traveling by train, you would go via Rotterdam and Oude-Tonge. From there, take the bus towards Renesse and get off directly in Bruinisse, just a few steps from the Aquadelta holiday park. Locally, the bicycle (in Dutch: fiets) is the most popular means of transport.
