Description

Our cottage 't Seepaerdje located in the cozy holiday park "De Oesterbaai" in Wemeldinge. Wemeldinge is a picturesque village which is located at the Oosterschelde in Zeeland. The house is detached and is comfortably furnished. It is fully equipped, even with its own private sauna. In the garden with lawn and terrace you can relax together, barbecue or just relax with a good book. Very close (just a stone's throw from the house) is a small, quiet sandy beach on the Oosterschelde. On the holiday park you will find for the little ones a playground with various equipment and a climbing frame, slide and swings.
Wemeldinge is a paradise for divers and water sports enthusiasts. They prefer to stay dry? Then you can achieve excellent biking and walking make on the bank and between the orchards and farmlands.
'T Seepaerdje is a great place to relax. It offers much to see and do in the area. A week is almost too short to discover everything. It is a very nice holiday for the whole family. See for yourself!

Cozy Holiday Home

After half a year, we returned for a wonderful vacation week in the lovely house with everything you need. Well-equipped household furnishings. In the cupboard in the room, we could nicely store our non-refrigerated food. Enough sleeping places that we are very satisfied with, and we slept well. The fenced garden is also super nice for our little dog! We had beautiful weather to enjoy the garden chairs that were still plenty on the spacious terrace. In other words, we had another fantastic week and would love to come back in the spring if our health allows. Thank you for the friendly and good communication and warm welcome! Hopefully see you in the spring.

Wonderful, relaxing vacation

With 4 adults and 2 dogs, we had more than enough space for everyone in the house.
We felt right at home due to the loving decor.
Everything was available as described/stated.
The location is great, especially for dogs with the fenced garden.
The sea is just around the corner, and the sauna in the house is a wonderful highlight for the evening.

The Verschuren family are very friendly and reliable hosts.

Overall a great holiday home

We were with 4 adults and 2 dogs in this great holiday home. It has plenty of space and is charmingly furnished. It is equipped with everything one could wish for. There were even bowls ready for the dogs. In good weather, one can enjoy the garden, there are enough seating options. The beach is just a few meters away, and in bad weather, there are enough games in the house to keep oneself occupied. We had a very nice contact with the landlords and would be happy to come back.

A vacation where everything is right

A very nice holiday home.
Very well located and it is not far to the beach. The house is fully equipped. Ideal for families with children because everything is available. From a cot to a high chair. The garden is fenced in and there is plenty of toys for kids. Even the four-legged friend is very welcome there. A feeding station is provided for him.
The landlords are very friendly. Everything is just right from start to finish. We would gladly vacation there again.

Great holiday with friends in France.

We had a very nice holiday in this lovely holiday home, despite the corona time we were not bored. There was plenty of toys available for the children so they had plenty to do. Everything we needed was present in the kitchen. There was a supermarket in the village where they sold everything. You can also have meals delivered to your home by local businesses. Very convenient if you don't feel like cooking. There is a lot of information about the holiday home and the surrounding area on the website of this house, which the owner pointed out to us; communication with the owner was quick and friendly. Definitely worth repeating.

Super holiday

We had a super holiday.
The house is well maintained and generously equipped. The kitchen has lots of crockery etc....
There were lots of toys and even 3 scooters for each child, so they didn't get bored.
The location is great, right behind the dyke and it's not that far to the bakery

Cosy holiday home for the whole family

The holiday home offers plenty of space for the whole family. A baby cot was available, as well as a high chair. There are plenty of toys for all ages, both indoor and outdoor. There were stair guards both upstairs and downstairs for the children. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, pots, cutlery, mugs, glasses, etc. The barbecue is unfortunately a bit out of date and did not work as intended.

Great vacation!

After a very friendly handover of this beautiful holiday home, we enjoyed a great holiday week here. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our attentive landlords!
There was nothing missing that you need for daily life. We can therefore recommend this great accommodation with a clear conscience.
The surrounding area was also very appealing, and you could reach all necessary shops on foot and enjoy delicious meals. The small beach is only a few steps away, where our two grandchildren could dig and fly kites perfectly, and our two little dogs could romp around. The entire holiday home area can be circled on a well-maintained lawn path. In the evening, a visit to the on-site sauna provided relaxation. We will gladly come back!!!

Holiday home Het Seepaerdje in Wemeldinge.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house, who gave us a tour and shared details about the surroundings. The house is located in a quiet park, offering lots of privacy and equipped with all amenities and kitchen utensils. It is only a short distance, approximately 300 meters, from the Eastern Scheldt and close to places like Goes, Middelburg, Domburg, Antwerp, and more. We had a wonderful holiday with much enjoyment and will definitely come back again.

Restful, great vacation!

A very beautiful, large house. It was clean and equipped with everything you need in everyday life. For children, there are plenty of toys for all ages, including DVDs and video cassettes. The garden is very well maintained and equipped with plenty of seating, loungers, umbrellas, and a grill. Being fully fenced all around, it is ideal for dogs. Our two dogs felt very comfortable. The only criticism is the very narrow beds, about 70 cm wide. All in all, a great house that we can easily recommend.

Lovely holiday!

Everything was present in this beautiful holiday home. The house has a cozy decor and everything was very clean. You immediately feel at home. Highly recommended!

We were very warmly welcomed by the landlady and received a good introduction to the holiday home as well as an information folder with all kinds of information about the town of Wemeldinge and the surrounding area, as well as operating instructions for the existing electrical appliances. We found the house in a clean and, above all, very lovingly furnished condition. The beautiful accessories in every room create a holiday feeling right away. The location and the individual beach sections are very beautiful and, above all, not too crowded. Just right if, like us, you enjoy walking a lot along the promenade. We definitely enjoyed our stay and even our dog felt very comfortable.

Our only suggestion for improvement would be to possibly reduce or remove the small hedge in front of the house so that 2 cars can park in front of the house without any issues.

Pure relaxation and enjoyment

We spent a great relaxing time with our dog. The property is completely fenced, so the dog had plenty of room to roam. The holiday home offers plenty of space and is comfortably furnished. Over Pentecost, we were 7 people and everyone had their own space, the large dining table is great for shared meals. There are many seating options and a built-in barbecue fireplace on the terrace. There are many games and toys for children. The surroundings are great for hiking, cycling, two small sandy beaches are within a 5-minute walk. In the village, there is a fantastic baker/pastry chef. We enjoyed walking along the old oyster beaches by the sea. The Verschuren family is very friendly, and the house is well-kept and clean! We would love to come back.
