Our house is located in a spacious park with a colorful and diverse range of holiday homes open to the central pond, offering views and much privacy.
The spacious house is modern and luxuriously furnished. In the summer, you can enjoy the outdoors on the terrace. In the winter, you can indulge in the cozy warmth of the fireplace. On the ground floor, you will find a sauna with an accompanying shower, where you can relax throughout the year. The villa is intended for a stay of up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bathroom downstairs also serves as the shower for the sauna; there is no sink available here.
There is a separate toilet on the ground floor. For your convenience, the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, and there is a washing machine in the attached storage room, which is accessible from both inside and outside. Facilities in holiday home Westlangeweg 1A 212, Hoofdplaat
The house has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and sink and toilet on the floor. Downstairs a separate toilet and a shower at the sauna.
All beds are equipped with 2 single duvets each 140 x 200cm.
Total thus 6 single duvets size 140 x 200 cm. For this, bring the duvet covers as well as pillowcases. Additionally, please bring the following bed linens:
Fitted sheets for bedroom 1 (double bed) size 90 x 200, 2 pieces
Fitted sheets for bedroom 2 (double bed) size 90 x 200, 2 pieces

Our house is located on a spacious park with colorful and variety of holiday homes with openness to the central pond where you seek and privacy.
Our house in the park is about 100 to 200 m away from the dike along the Westerschelde. There you have a wonderful view of the sea, the sandbanks that fall dry at low tide and where you can also see the seals. Then there is the view of Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Antwerp on shipping. The yachts of Breskens invigorate the sea.
On the dike is the beautiful hiking and biking as well as the long and the inner dyke and outer dike nature / marshes.
The park is adjacent to the village of Hoofdplaat, where a restaurant and snack bar at the entrance of the park and also a bakery where you can also get groceries next to a few shops, a cozy village with a good atmosphere.

The park is located in Zeeland Flanders on the south side of the Westerschelde by other- Flushing, North Side.
This Zealand Flanders has beautiful hiking and cycling trails and the nearby Breskens offers beautiful beaches, cozy cafes and modern shops.
The very beautiful holiday park Village Scaldia in Hoofdplaat is characterized by a very spacious, luxurious and colorful holiday. The park offers plenty of space and tranquility and is located directly behind the Westerdeich in Zeeland.
The park has two playgrounds, a tennis court and a bowling alley. Also there is a lake / pond, where you can fish.

Until now, dogs are allowed after consultation. 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. Most dog owners ensure that the dogs do not enter the bedrooms or otherwise cause dirt or damage. However, there are also problems that cause damage or pollution and complaints from other guests or the environment. Therefore, we consider every year based on the experiences whether to continue. In our other property, therefore, no dogs are allowed anymore. But to provide that possibility and because the environment here is suitable for dogs, we want to continue to offer this possibility for now. So, a request to dog owners to pay attention to this.

Great time in Hoofdplaat
I was at the holiday home in Hoofdplaat with my two dogs for the second time. It was very nice again, and we felt very comfortable. The landlord always responds very quickly. Top!
The sauna and the fenced garden are great. In 5 minutes, you are at the sea and can walk for hours with the dogs. There are more great beaches in the area.
We would love to come back.

Great holiday home in Hoofdplaat
We were in the holiday home in Hoofdplaat with two dogs at the beginning of September. We were very satisfied and felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The garden is ideal for the dogs (completely fenced and private due to the hedges). Short walk to the sea (no bathing beach), quiet area. Shopping facilities and restaurants in nearby Breskens. Beautiful beaches in Breskens and especially in Gröde, which are also suitable for dogs. The communication with Henk Meertens was very pleasant, and emails were answered promptly.
We would love to come again.

Great vacation with a dog!
We had a great week as a couple with our dog at the Meerteens family's accommodation in Hoofdplaat. The previous positive reviews lived up to their promises and the communication between us and Mr. Meertens was consistently positive and fast. Especially for our four-legged friend, the property and the surroundings were a dream. And the neighbors in the park are also all super friendly. We can only recommend the accommodation and would come back anytime.

This holiday home is super equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday week. We were there with 6 people. So I appreciate the luxury of 2 showers and 2 toilets, one on each level. The garden is large and fenced off with a beautiful view, so you can sit outside undisturbed. We were also able to park and lock our bikes there, so that they cannot be seen from outside. The sauna works great. Everything was very tidy and clean when we arrived. There were operating instructions for the technical equipment, so we managed to brown pizza with the help of the combination function. We liked it very much, it was one of the best equipped holiday homes we have had so far. The sea (although it is not suitable for swimming) is only about 200 metres away)

We, Like and Henk Meertens both come from the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen region and also most of the family members live there. In addition, we have also regularly visited West Zeeland-Flanders, both on the coast and in the surrounding area. After moving to other parts of the Netherlands we stayed here and we also wanted a place to stay in our native area where we could have a holiday. We have done that often and still. We were charmed by this house at headquarters because of the beautiful park and the house itself. A beautiful comfortable detached house with plenty of space, freedom and tranquility, again somewhat different from the crowded parks down the coast but still a short distance from beautiful beaches. What remains and here is close is the sea that is right here is 100m away. This has moved us to buy this property.
