Feeling at home on vacation with a dream landscape

The house is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the sea, with a view from the terrace (and the bedroom) towards the beach of Algajola and the port of San Damiano. The sunrises are beautiful. We immediately felt at home because the house has everything you need, plenty of space, storage options, and hooks for towels. There are many seating areas in front of the house, in the garden, and on the large terrace. Grilling here and eating with this view is fantastic. Algajola with its great bakery, a small Spar supermarket, 2 ice cream parlors, and a few pretty shops can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, and a little further on is the beach - one of the most beautiful in Balagne for us.

But the house is also a good starting point for trips to Asco, Fango, Restonice Valley, the mountain villages and beaches of Balagne, the ghost village of Occi, and much more. The owner quickly responds to questions, is always friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our vacation and didn't want to leave...

Wonderful resort

We (2pers + 2dogs) spent a perfect short holiday in the house and want to thank you with a review.

House:
The house is really perfect and lovingly furnished. The terrace has morning sun and invites you to have breakfast. The sauna is amazingly large and is located in the basement right next to a brilliant shower.
Two of the bedrooms are in a second building on the grounds. That's why the main house is smaller than the 120m² would suggest. However, the kitchen and lounge are more than adequately sized

Plot:
Important for dog owners: there is a sufficiently high fence around the whole property. The landlords expect that poop is collected, but that is a matter of course anyway
There are sunbeds and a large brick barbecue with 'oven'. With three days, we did not want to use the offer, but otherwise it would have appealed to us very much.
By the way, there is parking for two cars directly in front of the property. Additional vehicles would have to be parked a little further away or on the property.

Location:
The house is situated in a shallow side valley. Therefore it gets dark a little earlier. But there is a clear view to the east (morning sun) and we could enjoy the warm sunny terrace in the morning
The area seems to have good thermals. In the afternoon, the sky was often colourful from the paragliders' gliders
Breitenbach itself has little to offer in the way of culinary delights. Even the bakery was sold out once at 9:00 and another time there were only burnt goods. However, there are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We liked them best, but they tend to serve Mediterranean cuisine.
Oh yes, without a car/motorbike I would look for a more central location.

Conclusion:
Anytime again
The rating would be unbelievable without mentioning a disadvantage. The TV is connected to the mains and not to the antenna. That's why there are only French programmes.

After having already spent our holidays in Villa Natur in 2013, it was, as usual, the most beautiful time of the year. A very nice holiday home with everything you need. The location is perfect for relaxation and recreation. You can start the day with a refreshing swim at the house's own river access. And since Travo is in the middle of the east coast, everything is easy and relatively quick to reach: whether Bonifazio, the mountains or the great sandy beaches. From my point of view, highly recommended. Thanks to the Klukas family for this great place. One more thing: really great garden.
