Wonderful relaxation

we are now back from Fontès and would like to thank you for the wonderful accommodation you provided us with. We have already stayed in many beautiful holiday homes, but we really liked yours exceptionally well. The individual and very personal furnishings show your own love for the house and this was then also transferred to us.

A special highlight were of course the collected works of poets and thinkers on the toilet ...



So, we spent a very, very nice week in Fontès: a pretty village, beautiful surroundings and many interesting excursion destinations within easy reach. Highly recommended!

Great holiday home with lots of peace and quiet

The two of us spent a wonderful holiday here.

Everything was just right:

- The house is super and with lots of space. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has a shower and a bathtub
and a bathtub. The large living room has a dining table and a cosy sitting area.
For watching TV and listening to music. One misses nothing!

- The property is really big; with a very beautiful and lovingly landscaped garden. There is

- We really liked the area around Fontès. There are culinary specialities grown all around (wine, olives, etc.)

Gladly again

We had 2 wonderful weeks of summer holiday in the south of France in Fontès with Michel and Heike. The house is very well maintained, is located next to Pezenas and Paulhan and is perfect for a relaxing holiday as a family or as a couple. There are wonderful excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity and many shopping possibilities (food, wine, as well as wonderful little shops to stroll around). It takes about 35 minutes to get to the sea, where there are beautiful beaches, the sea is clean and there are many places to eat in the nearby towns. We especially loved the seafood platters and met very nice, accommodating, friendly, helpful people.

The house is beautiful and fully furnished, lacking nothing. Reading material, books, swimming utensils, all kitchen equipment are available. Children will never be bored, as the very large pool is guaranteed to be fun. The pool is very well maintained, cleaned once a week, there is always a shady spot in the spacious garden, in the garage all the necessary utensils for the beach are available (umbrellas, children's toys, sunbeds, etc.). The 3 bedrooms are large and spacious, so that you can also spend time here with 6 people. In the village there is a butcher and a bakery within walking distance, where you can get your daily necessities. In the house there are many tips from Michel and Heike about good restaurants, sights, excursions, all the necessary information for a relaxed holiday. However, if you have any questions, Linda is on hand to help you with any questions you may have. For us, these 2 weeks were an unforgettable time with wonderful weather, so that we have booked again for next year! Thanks to Michel and Heike for this valuable time!

Exellente location

Vraiment Pignes et Lucques est une excellente location dans un petit village sympathique avec tous les commerces de base nécessaires (excellente boucherie).
Les propriétaires sont très agréables souples et réactifs, la personne qui entretient le bien est aussi disponible et la maison en état de propreté impeccable. La mise à disposition de serviettes, les lits faits et l'absence d'obligation de faire le ménage sont vraiment des plus.
La situation permet à la fois de profiter de la mer, d'un arrière pays riche en sites exceptionnels loin de l'agitation touristique, et de villages de caractère qui ont su garder leur authenticité (à condition d'avoir un véhicule).
On a beaucoup apprécié les deux terrasses qui permettent d'avoir toujours un coin d'ombre et le barbecue aussi.
Nous étions 3 générations réunies entre 76 et 1 ans et tout le monde y a trouvé son bonheur.
Vraiment c'était parfait.

Glorious!!

Pignes et Lucques is a well-equipped holiday home with everything you need. It is quietly located on the outskirts, yet the town center with a bakery, butcher, wine cooperative, and restaurants is within walking distance. The nearest supermarket (with a gas station) is about 15 minutes away by car. Fontès is a very pretty village. There is a lot to see and do nearby (many picturesque villages, lakes, Saturday market in Pézenas, Cirque de Mourèze(!), Montpellier, the sea, etc.). Heike and Michel's tips and advice are great. And the best part: we have already booked for next year!

Traumurlaub

We were able to spend three wonderful weeks with our four young children in Fontès this summer. The house is very well-maintained and well-equipped (we didn't miss anything). There were numerous hiking and biking guides on site, books for both children and adults, and even some games. The house has a large pool where our second oldest son learned to swim. The garden offers many opportunities for playing and relaxing. Various seating options allow for dining outdoors, as one can follow the shade. We really liked the secluded location. The property is self-contained and situated on the edge of the village. A bakery and a butcher shop are within walking distance. We highly recommend the bakery. On Tuesdays, a pizza truck comes to the village, baking one of the best pizzas we have ever eaten. From the house, you can go on very beautiful hikes (for example, to Céressou) and if you use the car, countless beautiful places are within reach. In the three weeks, we haven't explored everything. A trip to the sea is also possible, but for us, the pool was often cooling enough. On-site, the friendly Linda supported us with advice, for example when we initially couldn't find the ascent to Céressou. She was very helpful and kind! The contact with Michel was also very, very nice! Thank you very much for allowing us to spend this wonderful summer in your house. It did us a lot of good, and the children were very happy!

Pignes et Lucques: Pignes and Lucques

We had a wonderful stay in Fonte. This is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace and quiet.
The house is exactly as described. All the details are correct, such as good mattresses, a well-equipped kitchen, everything clean, German TV, and very friendly landlords. Good contact, always helpful, very good tips for excursions. Very nice beaches reachable by car in about 30 minutes.
We will gladly come back.

Our stay at this lovely house.

We stayed here for two weeks in August and were very happy to be there. Michel , the owner, was always very helpful before and during our stay and Linda the local lady who managed the house was equally as helpful if we needed anything.
The house is really great, well equiped with good wifi , with a garden and a wonderful pool. This is above ground but not a problem to get in and out of. It is one level but deep enough to swim without problem and play volleyball etc,it was cleaned well once a week.We visited the Lake Salagou nearly every day which ourselves and our two young sons couldn't get enough of. Beautiful surroundings, not too cold water and water activities for fun. Just enough people to make it interesting but not to many to be overwhelmed, We found a little cove behind The Base du plein air that we headed for most days. You can get there by pedalo from Wind 34 boat hire as well.
A wonderful holiday and thanks for to Michel and his wife for helping for it to be that way.

Perfect vacation

We were with the children in Fontes during the autumn holidays. The house is very well equipped (kitchen equipment perfect, many games for indoors and outdoors available for the children) including pool and boules court. Extensive travel guides and hiking maps are provided. On-site, there is a nice and caring house caretaker. The autumn was excellent for excursions and hikes. But the children also highly enjoyed the pool and swimming in the Mediterranean. We are already planning our next vacation in "Pignes et Lucques" in 2020.

A house to fall in love with!

The location of the house is such that many interesting excursions can be easily reached in a short time. The pool is great, the entire property is completely secluded, quiet, and very comfortably equipped. The location on the outskirts of the village with a beautiful view of the mountain makes you feel immediately comfortable and relaxed. Schöner Familienurlaub

A very nice place that is perfect for a family vacation. The Mediterranean Sea is half an hour away by car, and Lac Salagou can be reached in 25 minutes. In hot weather, there is a pool in the garden, and you can eat in the garden/on the terrace. There is a "Boulodrome" for playing Boules/Petanque.

The small village has a very nice, authentic atmosphere, and once a week the pizza man comes. You can enjoy pizza on the village square or take it home. There are wine cellars in the area for wine tastings, you can buy olive oil and other great products from the region from the neighbors. If you want to experience France far from the tourist crowds, Fontès is the right place.

Simply great!

I spent the last week of December in Fontès in the holiday home "Pignes et Lucques" with a group of 5 people. The house has a spacious, nicely furnished living-dining room, a thoughtfully equipped kitchen, a beautiful bathroom with toilet next to the 3 bedrooms. There is also a guest toilet. Everything is newly furnished, practical, and very easy to care for. The car can be parked on the property, the garden with terrace and a view of the "Hérault" landscape is very appealing. About 5-10 minutes on foot is the village Fontès. Here you can find a baker and a good butcher, where we stocked up excellently for the holidays. For the rest, you drive to Pézenas, where there are markets, supermarkets, and stalls selling mussels and oysters. With the wonderful winter sunshine we had, we did hiking and sightseeing in this area. Wonderful excursions to Béziers, Grau d'Agde, along the canal du Midi, to Lake Salagou, and Mourèze. We felt very comfortable.

Holidays with children.

Spacious and very well-equipped house. We were a couple with 4 children aged 1 month to 5 and a half years old, so it is the ideal place for a family vacation, with a large pool, spacious terrace, and garden. The owners are responsive and available. I recommend it.
