Per person and week you have to pay 35 € for bed linen (you will find the beds already made up), water and electricity as well as other costs, in winter 45 € for heating. Included in the price are also towel sets, one large and one medium size. An unloading point is still available in 2023 on a small parking area in the immediate vicinity of the house. However, the through traffic will be completely closed and in 2024 this unloading possibility will probably also be omitted. How this will be regulated then has to be clarified then. A beautiful house for individualists
If you are looking for something unusual away from the main stream, the Volets Bleus is the place for you. An enchanting old house among other equally old houses, lovingly restored without ostentation and kitsch, 100 metres from the unique Picasso Museum and a few metres from the cathedral, not on the busy coastal road, but in the parallel street with no traffic.... There is everything you need to cook for yourself - a Provencal market full of delicacies in the immediate vicinity - plus a small roof terrace with a view of the winding old town houses and even the sea, in short: a place to feel good. Even at the end of December/beginning of January, we could have lunch on the roof terrace or, in the evening, still drink a glass of red wine under the clear winter sky with our coat and scarf on. You feel at home there and less like a tenant, because the house has been restored in a personal but not kitschy way and with simple craftsmanship. We will be happy to come back.

Stylish house in the old town of Antibes
The house is located quietly in a picturesque alley of Antibes in the middle of the historic old town. In 3 minutes you can reach by foot the city beach, the harbor with mega yachts but also cheap motorboat rentals, the marketplace, the city wall, and the promenade with many bars and restaurants. The house is lovingly and authentically furnished. We didn't miss anything. We got croissants and baguettes from a nearby bakery and had breakfast on the sunny rooftop terrace. From here you have a great view over the roofs of Antibes and the sea. The terrace is also recommended for cozy red wine evenings. The surrounding places Nice, Cannes, and Monaco can be reached quickly by car or train. The owners were very accommodating and gave us some insider tips.

We have often spent our vacation at the beautiful les volets bleus, in spring, summer, autumn - with friends and later as a family with a child. The property description promises nothing it doesn't keep. The house is characterized by the beautiful Provençal style of the old town and is accordingly furnished. In the rooms, which are equipped with great attention to detail, you immediately feel at home and can enjoy the "savoir vivre" feeling to the fullest on the flower-filled rooftop terrace with a view over the old roof landscape and the sea beyond on mild evenings! Antibes itself already offers a lot with its sweet restaurants, bars, boutiques, markets, the harbor, and museums, and of course the beaches. The bathing bay, which is a 2-minute walk from the house, is somewhat more private and quieter than the town's large, open beach promenade and is also ideal for small children. For shopping or sightseeing, you can simply take public transport to Cannes or Nice (besides Antibes) and the neighboring beach resort of Juan les pins is also worth a visit. We always found the walks or morning jogging trips to Cap d'Antibes particularly beautiful, where you can admire the luxurious villas next to the breathtaking sea view. All in all, after so many past stays and hopefully also future stays in this place, it was necessary to rate it!

Relaxing days in 2600-year-old Antibes
We spent five wonderful days at Les Volets Bleus and felt very comfortable. The house made it easy for us to feel at home (super equipped kitchen, cozy sofa, many reading lamps, atmospheric posters, etc.). While the children were at language school, I made myself comfortable on the quiet rooftop terrace, then went for a swim at the nearby beach, and afterwards enjoyed a coffee in the busy streets of the old town (while the lane where Les Volets Bleus is located is much quieter).
Before our arrival, the very friendly owners provided us with plenty of tips and links, which also contributed significantly to the feeling of being at home on site. I found the airport pick-up service very pleasant. Upon our arrival at the house, we were greeted by the property manager, who was also available during our stay (a pleasant feeling to have someone available in case of any issues). Inside the apartment, there is a map that makes it easy to find supermarkets, bakeries, trash bins, etc.
Conclusion: The organization of practical details and the comfort of the house are great (you can simply tell that the owners themselves regularly vacation here).

We are an older German couple that have come a long time ago through friends to Easter several times to Juan les Pins, there, however, we have fallen in love with the older Antibes lying on the other side of the Cap d'Antibes and as it happened professionally and privately then could acquire a house in the historic old town. We are still there frequently, in the meantime also favoured by the fact that we have moved into a rural retirement home in nearby Piemonte in Italy. Antibes offers a very different counterpart. Despite the negative effects of tourism, Antibes has remained "a village in the city", which gives Antibes and especially in the quarter of the Volets Bleus a very special character, which also wants to be felt, who is looking for modernity and chicce, should better choose another place to stay.
